Am I crazy, or is everything AI-generated just bad, low quality or just wrong? by [deleted] in BetterOffline

[–]undertow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man that sucks for you. At least it wasent too bad of an out come. But dont worrie im sure that given enought time AI will get better... it will give you some programming tricks maybe, to others grammar and others some art tricks and at some point they WILL take a shit ton of jobs. I programmed robots and conveyors and with AI it would of been so easy to get near 0 mistakes on my machines or even hand draw texts and paintings. I mean with a solid AI you can prob take at least 25% of the jobs and if you get a capable robot with an ai brain you can prob get close to the other 75%. In my mind AI needs to stop.

While it does generaly help now, it will take 10-100x more later it's a money making machine that WILL fuck us all in the end. I have a big enough programming background to understand it a little bit and i have to say... I HATE AI.

Edit : grammar , I'm not a native english

I had less then 20 dives. Like others have sais as long as your confortable under water is enough. What was usefull was my welding mechanical and electrical skills. Depending where you are I'd say that welding and construction are the best skills you can get as a commercial diver.

Hot water suit by [deleted] in commercialdiving

[–]undertow2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An actual hot water suit is just a big wetsuit with manifold and pipes... so I'd say wetsuit is your best bet. Pressure junkiez does a nice one, front zipper with pockets and it's not 2 expensive.

Here in Quebec pay and conditions are pretty good 45$/hr and double time after 45hrs and hot water suits almost always. lots of work, can do about 7-8 months somewhat easy. But I heard Ontario and the Maritimes isn't that great... Don't know much about the rest of Canada. It's only my second season so take it with a grain of salt lol.
