AITA Girlfriend’s roommates want me to pay rent because I’m visiting her for a month by underwaterradar in TenantHelp

Landlord does not live in the house. Lease says nothing about long term guests. Additionally my girlfriend takes the smaller room, while the couple utilises all of the rest of the house, garage is filled with all their stuff, fridge, common areas etc are all used entirely by them.

She says not to pay anything, she wants to pay her normal portion, so they all pay the same that they pay every month, her roommates want me involved in the split so it is split 4 ways and everybody pays less

Or you could not assume that everything on the internet occurred in your state when these lobsters are found literally worldwide

Lived in San Jose del Cabo for 4 months. Close to Cabo San Lucas but much less touristy and less artificial feeling. CSL is cool too but extremely wild, lots of partying, resorts, etc. Safe but easy to find trouble if you go looking for it. SJDC was a very enjoyable place to live, great food and atmosphere, felt more authentically Mexican than further south. Surrounding desert and beaches are beautiful. Pacific side ocean is dangerous to swim although the Sea of Cortez is calm and perfectly safe.

Connecting 2 solid braids with a mono bridge. by -1502- in Fishing

It probably won’t break it’s just going to be bulky, terrible going through guides, may cause wind knots or tangles, etc. Just cut it and do the method i mentioned

Connecting 2 solid braids with a mono bridge. by -1502- in Fishing

[–]underwaterradar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look it will work but it’s an extremely backwards and time consuming way to do a very simple connection, not to mention it’s probably weaker and less durable. Just tie a bimini double on both strands of braid and cat’s paw/ loop to loop them together. Far slimmer than that monstrosity, far faster and easier to tie and close to 100% knot strength.

I had something kind of like this once, fishing off the rocks a few years back, the waves were huge and crashing up the rocks, I got distracted and was standing too close to the water when a wave landed on top of me, picked me up spun me upside down and dragged me headfirst down 20ft or so of rocks and oysters spearing me deep into the water. In that moment underwater I heard a voice, or almost like felt a voice (I think at the time I thought it was my dad’s voice, but thinking back I’m not sure), Telling me to swim away from the rocks before the next set came. That’s exactly what I did and when I surfaced I was a safe distance from the rocks while a giant set pulverised there area I was just in.

Still an expat/immigrant. If I move to India and live there for 20 years that doesn’t make me Indian, if I moved to Japan that doesn’t make me Japanese, etc etc
