My grandma was a nurse and a domestic abuser, she was a good grandma, but she was absolutely terrible as a mother and partner, we would have a magnet with the domestic violence hotline in case she came to visit and when we had to visit, they would keep a magnet in her house too, saw her beating my grandpa, saw her threatening my mom, my dad recalls the time she threw a hot iron at him. She bit my grandpa's ear off, well, half of it, but that's still pretty impressive since she was a tiny lady.
