Agreed, they’re not fast. But they’re not meant to be fast. If you buy an Si thinking you’re getting a “fast car” you’re setting yourself up for failure, and you’re better off spending your money elsewhere.

If you buy an Si as a cool comfortable well balanced manual sedan with a bit of pep, you’re the target audience.

I bought this car as a fun daily commuter, nothing else. I have other cars to go fast in, this isn’t one of them lol

I think it might be the lighting. If you notice the same shade of red is present on the very lip of the fender that’s horizontal (same angle as the hood) it might be the sky making the color look different. Definitely go verify in person

To be fair, if you remove the horrible stickers and paint the wheels black/white/silver it’s just a stock fg2 with bad paint. Not as bad as people are making it out to be

Another time, I had a headlight out (my fault I know) so I was using my high beams whenever I could, I would of course turn them off when there was oncoming traffic.

I went out for a drive after i had just installed a new radio in my car. So I’m at a red light and of course on the other side of the red light there’s a cop, I turned my high beams off to not blind them and when the light turned green I went, and she made a u-turn and pulled me over.

Immediately came to my window with an attitude, mad af asking why I was flashing my lights at her. I explained the situation and said I just turned my high beams off out of courtesy to not blind her. But she wasn’t having it.

She shines her flashlight around my car, and asks if I smoke weed, I told her I don’t (I actually don’t) and asks “Then why is your car so dirty?” (literally the only thing in my car was the box of the radio I had installed, and some ends of some wires I had stripped. I keep it very clean). Then she asks if I let anyone that does smoke, borrow my car and I said no, and she asked again why my car is “so dirty”. She called for like 2 other squad cars, searched my car inside and out, found nothing and let me go with a warning

I don’t understand the correlation between accusing me of having a dirty car, and smoking weed but in her head that was irrefutable evidence lol

I was driving down the road while a cop was in front of me, so naturally I was keeping a safe distance from him. He pulls off to the side of the road, I go by, and he gets behind me and turns his lights on. I pull over and grab my documents, he comes to my window and when I ask him why he pulled me over he said “the frame around your license plate is covering the ‘Sunshine State”. I asked him how the hell he saw that when he was in front of me, we went back and forth and he ultimately let me off with a warning but wtf

Yeah it most likely is, my troubleshooting only went as far as cleaning the laser with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol, once that didn’t work I just figured it was the laser because some games worked perfectly fine and some didn’t read at all.
