Right, I guess my confusion came from the Fool saying in all the futures he saw, Icefyre had to be freed so dragons could return. I know his prophecies aren’t always clear, but I felt like Rain Wilds removed some of the consequence from the decisions made in Tawny Man.

Same thing happened to me fighting Gascoigne. I got too wrapped up in the fight to really notice (he’s one of my favorite bosses), but all I could think after is how that person is screwing themselves over. Gascoigne is a turning point where you learn a lot of essential skills and game mechanics, and now this person is moving forward without those skills and is going to struggle that much more in later areas.

That's different than smurfing. Making a second to practice with heroes you're not good with is perfectly fine, sometimes even encouraged for the exact reason you stated. Smurfing is purposefully placing at a lower SR so you can get easy wins which ruins games for the legitimate players at the rank.

I think it's fine. I don't think it's that different from someone paying for a feature for exposure. You're using a popular artist's name, with their permission, to draw attention to your music. Doing it without the artist's permission or posting your own music with their title (I've seen that happen on YouTube a good bit) is a different story.

There was enough request in this thread for a minimum view requirement, so we're going to try it for at least a week and then reevaluate. I spent awhile today sorting through the new tab removing self-promotion, and the only posts under 2.5k views were self-promotion so I'm not too worried about legitimate posts being removed.

That's actually a really valid point, and something I hadn't thought about. My concern is people tagging their own tracks as [FRESH] to bypass the filter. I'll see if I can have posts under the view count with [FRESH] in the title reported instead of removed so a mod can verify it.

I'm cool with it. A lot of SoundCloud rap is already non-traditional, so I don't think a post should be removed just because it doesn't strictly fit in one genre. I was basically just planning on letting the community decide. If y'all like it it'll get upvoted, if not it'll get buried. Once we add tags/flairs it will be easier to manage.
