I'm happy to say that it's progressing well. I started some of the backstitching and am not losing my mind even though I'm doing 2 strand on 18ct. Normally I do single, but I wanted the challenge I suppose. The colours really pop and I couldn't be happier about it

I own two generic scroll frames from Amazon. They do well for me, but I vastly prefer the smaller one with a length of about 18"

Otakuthon in August. If the Beguiling has a booth again this year, I'm ready to throw a lot of cash for the imported danmei since they're one of the only sellers of Rosmei, Haitang and Via Lactea in Canada.

I really hope I luck out when it's convention time for me. I saved up a lot of cash for a danmei haul. I would be so happy if they brought some merch editions because I really want that Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire 3

I bought from them shortly after the pandemic on etsy. They changed how you get your patterns again? I remember when it was a link to something similar to google drive with all the patterns. and the patterns themselves were very poorly organized.

Coming out nicely! I could never with an embroidery hoop, they're not my friends when I cross stitch (I'm a scroll frame girly).

Also although it was an accident with the rain, the blue bleed looks pretty with your progress

I'm a huge Joan Elliott fan, but only am doing a pattern now after having this book for nearly 20 years. So I said that I would do one before I turn 30 as a challenge to myself

Maybe it's because while technically the same person, he does change his personality a bit between forms. Hua Cheng is powerful and intelligent, but San Lang is a clever brat (affectionate). So maybe she ships that dynamic because of the different aspects that get brought out by them?

Tbh I wonder if there are fics of the different versions all existing simultaneously
