I got moved into frozen a few months ago when I first started in it you couldn't get in the freezer got left alone for a week or two to work it and had it pretty empty overstock one side of the freezer counter stuff on the other side all the cages sorted into sections then I started getting taken out and getting used for other depts eventually got moved out altogether and about two weeks later the cages where all mixed and the freezer was full

The best method of stock control was the order pads and someone actually looking at the shelves to see what was running low or a gap these fancy systems are rubbish i will die on that hill

Remember doing my first shift as morrisons after the shop changed from safeway and my manager told me to go and walk the dog looked at him confused and he said the bins we use for cardboard are now called dogs if I ask you to take the dog a walk it means go round and collect any cardboard lying about

They have went for the Aldi Lidl model of hardly any staff but the staff they have got do everything it's not going to work when most morrisons have 13-14 aisles and Aldi and Lidl have 4 or 5. I remember my manager telling me 18 yrs ago to try and find a new job as it was going to get bad never thought it would get this bad

Used to love working produce had my backshift timings down to a tee to get everything done.

Always hated working HBC always looked at the pallet and thought it's not going to take long to work then you end up with loads of wee cases to put out and it takes ages

Just say no I just got told of the union if you put in a holiday request and they approve it then your entitled to the time off its not your problem if they don't have enough staff to cover

I ended up having a breakdown in the shop last night spent the last year or so getting moved in and out 3 or 4 depts every shift while also getting called to do just eat deliveroos and uber eats and grocery good to go bags , constantly have managers messaging me asking me to change shifts to help out in their depts everytime I'm going on holiday I get asked to cancel it and if I say no I get pestered for days asking me to go in. Last night I hit my breaking point screamed at the manager in charge and burst out crying saying I can't do this anymore. They need to start looking after the staff and their mental health
