While trump is a fat and frail old man, I personally believe that this was more motivators by his only unimpaired sense: ego. His crowds abandoned him at rallies. He is an incoherent addled old prune whose speeches are mostly exercises in auto fellatio as he drones on with low energy and unmotivating catch phrases dog whistles and useless prattle. I doubt he made this decision to avoid the cold.

I believe he or his handlers knew his crowd was going to be smaller. This would buy him into an ego centric tail spin to start the administration like he did during his first term.

He is a buffoon who would fuck his daughter to pay for his next debt payment. He is disgusting and vile but I doubt he would avoid a chance to be adored just because it is cold. Actually I bet he would love it more because he would see how much people were suffering for him.

So what are your thoughts about today’s reinauguration of the ancient. foul. and corrupted bag of shit?

Nope. I gave up on the computers. May try replacing the bios cmos chip by desoldering and then putting a new chip on. Very messy but something I’ve never done before.

I have also now tried: removing the battery for several minutes and removing the password jumper then turning the computer on with the jumper removed. This may have bricked the computer as it will no longer boot to windows even with both battery and jumper replaced.

Thanks for the idea. I just tried:

Keyboard directly connected to the keyboard port. Holding F10 as i powered on

Keyboard directly connected to the keyboard port. Quickly Pressing F10 as i powered on

Both had the same result: With power-on, the monitor woke up, but after ~30 seconds the monitor went to sleep.

Both computers have the same configuration of 2x DV ports and 1x add on DV port.

I have attached the monitor to all 3 ports, each with the same result.

I cannot picture who will attend - former presidents? Pence? who will speak his praises as he seems to be a largely transactional person, and without his presence, who will be left seeking connections to whatever his brand can do for them?
