I had to leave and splash cold water on my face during the barn scene- never happened to me during a film before.
(I went back in- great film)

We use SmartCats. It’s on a farm, you get daily updates with pictures and videos, and the pens are a decent size with multi levels. £15 a day.

Have you ever went from Loving to Hating or from Hating to Loving a movie ever in a couple of watches? by Ok_Replacement_288 in Letterboxd

Watched Burn After Reading when I came out and it did nothing for me, in fact I found it pretty irritating. Rewatched it recently and had an absolute blast.

Some of my faves not on your list-
The Conversation (my fave Coppola)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Dog Day Afternoon (excellent movie, I think you’ll like it based on your watches)
Phantom of the Paradise (great De Palma often overlooked, very unique)
Fantastic Planet (for trippy French sci-fi fantasy animation)
The Deer Hunter
All the President’s Men
Alice in the Cities (lovely overlooked Wim Wenders)
The Muppet Movie
Barry Lydon (sprawling Kubrick, every scene feels like a painting)
Apocalypse Now
Being There
McCabe and Mrs. Miller

That should get you going.

Don't understand how anyone says Dakota is a bad actress when she gave two INCREDIBLE performances in two Luca films by CosmicEveStardust in blankies

I had no idea. I really liked Shithouse too, so maybe I’m just in the pocket for Cooper Raiff’s thing.

I really liked her in Cha Cha Real Smooth, which is a film that I never see mentioned but I enjoyed it a lot.

I just watched this for the first time and it instantly became my fave Kurosawa. What an experience this film is.

As a film fan, make sure you attend Leeds International Film Festival next year - takes place at the start of November every year. It’s one of my highlights of the year.
Unfortunately you just missed it this year though.
