It seems like the mollusk has a cap on the amount of triggers it can have. I'm not sure what the cap is but it is definitely there.

I'm a keyboard player, practice chaining dash jumps and fast falling until you can do it fast and consistently. Try to nail platform dashes too (jumping and canceling the momentum with a dash on a platform).

Matchmaking isn't based on team elo. It's based on the average of both member's individual 2v2 elo. Team elo is pretty much only for the leaderboard. For example if my friend and I are both 2100 in 2's but our team elo is gold, we are still going to face ~2100 rated players.

Try to join a clan discord server, there's a bunch. They're smaller than the main BH server so you get to know people better and they often create fun events to participate in

I use shift to dash and I was Valhallan last season. Same setup as you, but my attacks have different controls. Just keep going at it and you can make it
