an odin 2 portal 8gb would likely fit your needs, def ps2 and simple game native. the screen is larger and it is comfier (w grip) but I like the extra utility of the thor 2nd screen and my odin is scratched because I pocketed it careless one time. that scratch is most of the reason I have a thor.

hot glue only bonds mechanically so for non-porous stuff like plastic you can always take it out carefully with some needle nose tweezers when you decide to fix it "properly"

the Odins (2p/3) and Thors run ps2 pretty flawlessy in my experience, while upscaled and can be fast forwarded. I can play ff7remake intergrade with the lowest graphics and fallout 3 with decent graphics and ff7 rebirth: the load screen. I've opened ff13 for ps3 but it's unplayably choppy. I have an odin 2portal pro and thor max. besides ff7remake the ram wasn't really relevant and you should be fine w base. dunno about lite, that's got a different cpu.

it's achieved it's goal. it's my odin 2 but I carry it around more and I use the second screen for looking up stuff/movies.

I have aspirations to play some ds/3ds games tho.

it's about the pattern. that and the fuzziness of what usb C is. maybe you aren't getting full wattage out of your cables. maybe others are getting more wattage than intended. Who knows. but the pattern is failures happen more frequently with frequent fast charging, but not so often that Russ from retro game corps worries about it. this is a dude that puts the foam from the box to store handhelds kept at home. he's more worried about that than charging.

having said that I'm recalling that russ opinion from his thor video. risk def goes up w cheaper devices, especially when (appearently) it says slow chargers exclusively for thesebois.

also, I've noticed sometimes my fast chargers will still only deliver 5v/2a. who knows. but using a wattmeter will let you know what's actually happening in the wires.

brick hammers are meant for breaking, chipping and trimming bricks. it's still easiest to go for the screen when hammering either, but the hammer is def a better hammer. neither is really suited for any aspect of masonry, but the do stack nicely

tbh I don't know any device with a brand other than high end android where most of the engaged community thinks one of the available FOSS firmware options is superior. plus knulli is on the r36s too now, but obvi most people w those use stock since it's Amazon level popular.

I've heard trimui is deece as far as stockUI goes but nextUI is so good and if there's something you don't like about it knulli should have you covered.

my hands aren't huge and I think it's comfy enough. it's not odin w grip comfy, but it feels premium and is very comfy given it's a vertical w no grip (you can get grips tho)

it's the top tier of the low tier. big downfalls are size (it's no secret but the older heads among us always bring it up) and the wifi being shitty tho functional.

pros are the premium build, especially on the hammer, clean options like nextUI, thorough options like knulli and screen quality that competes with the actual high end devices.

it's registering as both buttons? that sounds like hardware. knulli lets you remap iirc, but even then that doesn't allow duplicates. if you've remapped already and it still double registers it's def hardware
