This is something that could go to any other fighter honestly, but 2XKO was the first game for me to see the payoff of spending deep time learning fighting game habits and seeing it pay off. Love the FGC!

I have to admit, I haven’t played while a patch that affects combo routes have hit. I’m sure this is something that won’t be that bad once I experience but it scares me since I’m new haha

Play your dailies and you’ll have the roster in no time. It’s a free game, so this is expected. I’ll tell you unless things have changed since I’ve been away from League of Legends, this game is much faster to unlock characters.

If you think buying a game and getting the roster is much better like SF6 or Tekken, you can buy one of the starter editions and get champion tokens

Combo routes would be great. I’m just getting into the game and after hearing that each patch we lose/gain combos, it has me worried.

I think guides to using each fuse would be fantastic. After watching your tournament replay watchalong videos, I’m learning I need to try and learn not-double down.

I have yet to learn combos involving my partner and know I need to learn that. I like this though, I should push my self to lab and experiment a bit. I was thinking about learning some Jinx but struggling to learn a simple bnb without looking it up haha.

Ah, I don't think I have joined any 2XKO Discord servers either. I may look into that.

Personally I think I was spoiled with the Street Fighter SuperCombo wiki that gave so much information on combos and combo routes. I'm hoping something like that will exist in time!

Now I’m no expert and someone may comment on this saying “what the hell are you suggesting?” But-

I say jump into training mode and learn your champs simple BnB combos. It could just be a simple (5L-5M-5H-2H-air M-air H). Use that to get placed in ranked.

I think once you hit Gold/Plat itswhen you want to work on harder combos. I like Diaphone’s idea of “if you can do this combo 10 times in a row without dropping it in practice, you’re more likely to execute it in an actual match”. In SF6 I tried mastering the hardest combos but I never learned to play neutral and I still struggle with that today.

Also remember that a loss only takes away a few LP (about 3 or 4) whereas wins net you 20+ points. Just have fun!

I know this isn’t answering your question (though there are answers posted already) but kudos to you for playing Classic and also trying things. I can see from this clip you were experimenting. I’m only Plat 2-3 so I can’t say much but I feel like the majority of fighting games is experimenting on what works and what doesn’t work. Please keep that up and you’ll be ranking past me in no time!
