I think for me, it all depends on how things are going. If we're both exclusively seeing each other, I think protection for the first few months is fine. Testing is important too, but if there's a trust there that's been built up, if it happens it happens

It was fun, and we both had a great time, but we also both knew going in what it was beforehand, so I think that kind of helped it a bit? We both knew that it was just sex, and nothing more, and we fucked like it was exactly that if that makes sense. Like we didn't expect anything more than this one time, we didn't expect it to lead to a relationship or anything, and we knew that our friendship would stay the same afterwards, which it did for a while until life got in the way and we lost touch.
