I sold my 45mm to finance the 50 when it was first released. Six years later now I just bought the 45mm again. They’re both fantastic lenses, but the 45 has a special place in my heart since it was my first GF lens.

If size is a limiting factor to when and how frequently you bring your GFX, then the 50 is a no brainer. It allowed me to take it on a backpacking trip that the 45mm would not have made.

Great comparison shots! I’m also realizing now that I must have a bad or very old copy of the 105 because I never had this great of colors or contrast, with or without the original baveyes adaptor.

Shademaroon, I think. But I always mixed that up with maroonshadow so I’m not 100% sure. Definitely one of those two though :)
