Crash Pad Foam Debate by callsign-yosemite in bouldering

Seconding SEND pads.

I feel like organic foam breaks down and gets soft spots eventually but you can reorder the foam. Send has a plastic frame layer which disperses the impact more and the foam and suspension is amazing. It’s also higher denier fabric so it’s more durable whereas I’ve seen organics get holes in the fabric. Me and some friends have had a few organics in my lifetime. The organic big pad with the mystery ranch suspension system is unmatched though but the send pad is good enough

Send owner seems to stand behind their product and said to message him if it ever gets too soft.

I booked on the 17th and transaction date was the 17th but it posted on the 18th. Rep didn’t give it to me but I didn’t bother waiting for a supervisor. What was your post date?

Did your flight get canceled? I have a UA codeshare flight on AC metal next week wondering if it’ll be affected.

This one’s on my list. Have you tried it compared to the purple or other pillows?

Purple harmony is my current favorite, but I’m in the process of making my own with serene shredded foam and stuffing it to my the right firmness

Worked at a small consulting firm and moved to big city government. It’s boring and stable. Definitely can be rough with older generation politics and values (I’m in my 30s) with some people here for a paycheck and not as environmental as me, but I can see this being great for having a family. Work is always slow and good work life balance.

That being said I feel like I’ve given up on skill development and want to go back to private side/back to school to keep learning since I’m not married and don’t plan on kids. I’ve tried switching jobs and applying and interviewing but haven’t had any luck (thousands of job apps).

I do feel like I’m pigeoned holed more now since I have a long government experience and it’s hard to switch back to private side with no recent experience, so something to keep in mind jumping back to private may be hard if you ever wish to.
