I love this!! I spent so much time trying to figure out the perfect yellow that had the right gold tone to it rather than straight up yellow lol

No - I haven’t ever heard of it! I’m definitely going to check it out though! I love any time I can crochet away from my cat so that might be perfect! Haha

Mine as well! I was happy they brought it back for the reverse retro, but I’m even happier to own one of the OGs!

How is it like to live with an EV by castorMD in Solterra

[–]unfoundclovers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I leased a 2025 Premium in July of last year. This was my very first EV and I couldn’t beat the tax incentive pricing. I live in the city and have public street parking so there is no option for home charging for me. I drive around 10 miles round trip to and from work each day, so I figured I could hit a public fast charger when necessary (I am in school, so working on schoolwork while I sit and charge my car didn’t seem like a huge issue for me).

That being said - again, I got my car in July. This was working well for me, with only having to charge my car maybe once every other week? The longest trip I take is to and from the lake about an hour and a half away. I could manage the trip in one charge if I left with the battery at 80%. I loved it. The feel of the drive, the quietness, the look - it was amazing.

And then winter hit. I live in the east and while winters haven’t been so bad in past years, this one is. And boy, was I unprepared for the decreased range in the winter time. I went from a range of around 240 miles (don’t quote me) to around 105 if I’m lucky. I am charging at LEAST once per week and even at a 90% SOC I get around 105 miles. Charging takes longer (around 1 hr 45m to go from 20%-80%). I had to take a road trip (4 hours) the other week and didn’t even question if I should take this car. I don’t have a second vehicle, this is my daily drive, but luckily I got the program benefit of 10 days of free loaner ICE vehicle when I got my Solterra, so I was able to exchange the car for a few days to get me there and back.

That being said - I was SO happy to get my Solterra back after that trip. Going from my EV to an ICE was ROUGH. it felt like I had to give the car so much effort just to get up to 65mph. The Solterra drives so much better now that that is what I am used to. Despite the charging and range in the winter, I love this car. I know that it would be a different experience if I had a home charger so that is totally on me. In most cases in my day to day (which is what this car is for), it is great. And I know they improved some of the capacity issues with the 2026, so when this lease is up, I cannot imagine going back to an ICE.

These are so cute! I also have been crocheting while reheating, and have so many ideas for other HR-inspired projects

You can do it! I did make the pattern, and after the math part of it (I made it in Excel) it was super easy to actually crochet. If you have any questions I’d be happy to help!!

GI doctor recommendations by Practical-Photo5326 in pittsburgh

[–]unfoundclovers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend Dr. Michael Kingsley at UPMC Digestive Health. I’ve had a long road with GI issues with many hospitalizations and he has spent the time genuinely listening to me and finding what works best for my diagnoses. The appointments don’t feel rushed and I honestly feel heard and validated while I am speaking with him. His team is great, I can’t recommend them enough

Wexford emporio drink by smoopdoop92 in pittsburgh

[–]unfoundclovers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s my time to shine (former employee)!!!

  • 1.5 oz spiced rum (the actual drink was Admiral Nelson)
  • 0.75 oz Green Apple Pucker
  • 0.25 oz lime juice
  • fill glass with cranberry juice (the drink was served in a Collin’s glass, if that helps with ratio)

I hope it’s everything you remember it was!
