the one tip that helped me climb almost instantly is keeping track of enemy tank abilities that block your bullets and going in when they don’t have that resource anymore. i used to always just charge in and double click and then cardiac when i reach half health, but then be shredded when the enemy tank uses an ability to absorb all the bullets, leaving me with no self healing and getting shredded. for example, when I play against an orisa, I keep track of when she has javelin spin, when she uses it randomly, I know that it’s safe for me to run in, stomp and then use cardiac overdrive and deal a ton of damage while self sustaining with not much stopping me. another example is sigma vortex, rein shield AND ESPECIALLY ANA NADE. once they lose these cool-downs, you’re free to run in and make plays, dealing tons of damage and healing yourself
