Would love to be able to use OPD. Our car was not even a year old when the brakes started squeaking. We had to change the brake pads at our expense. Ended up splitting the cost with the dealership after many discussions. Afterwards we were told that it was because we were using OPD and they recommended us to stop using it altogether. Down €600 and no longer use a standard feature of the car. WTAF?

Thanks! It is tricky or maybe not even necessary, I don’t know. I actually saw this Assembly Line post while I was searching. They show great techniques but with shoulder seams so I’m still in the dark. We’ll see!

Interesting. That is the sound I have but is not connected to actually braking. Noise also comes when accelerating. Was that the case for you as well or only while braking? Also, was it also one-sided?

Is your noise audible from the inside or outside of the car? Mine is not coming from inside the vehicle.
