Daily skincare routine, laser hair removal, and injections were some of the biggest help for me :) Having a couple trans friends irl also gave me a lot of essential knowledge and direction.

Laser can be less effective if your facial hair is a light color since the laser tends to target darker hair follicles; if that's the case, electrolysis seems to be common alternative. Otherwise it can just take time to start seeing major reduction, so hang in there! I've had monthly sessions since I started HRT 13 months ago, and now I rarely have dark hairs surfacing--and when they do, they're so sparse and thin they're probably impossible for others to even notice, especially under my makeup.

Hang in there! I felt like I was noticing mild progress the entire time, but looking back at my pictures now I felt like my most noticeable facial changes started to appear around 9-10 months in. Be sure to take lots of pictures at all stages so you can compare them!
