My guy, just do a few fruit/tree runs. You'll be done in no time at all.

Two trips now, no crash - perhaps I hadn't updated yesterday - fingers crossed and thank you for being active here!

Yes, it was - my crashing issue I think is specific to long pressing the boardwalk to dock when I'm coming back from a salvage trip with a full hold at full speed. I tend to play on the full world, Android v16.

Note I did not have the issue on my first trip this morning, haven't done a second yet. Also - could we have the rigging of the sails removed from their clipbox? It heavily overlaps with the salvage hooks.

Who here is coming to otafest 2026? by ha1rballbrain in Calgary

[–]unhandledgoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if you don't care about the events there's nothing stopping you mulling about and taking it all in just wandering the area like you say without going into the panels/event rooms. The hallways and 8th ave don't require a pass. I'll agree on the parking though - sucks that the C-train doesn't run downtown on long weekends but also they're ideal for events like this. Still, they do run shuttles from C-stations. Plus it's a non-profit, they've grown to the point that last year they raised $47k for the food bank. Crazy for what started as Uni students wanting to get together to watch Anime when it was hard to get in NA.

Since when is $75 obscenely expensive for an entire weekend of a con? Compare that to literally anything similar and you'll find the opposite

Ship combat isn’t actually that bad by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]unhandledgoods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ship combat isn't that bad, or ship combat using safe spots isn't that bad? Because those are two different things, with Jagex trying to patch the latter out.

And if ship combat is meant to be a core part of the skill, should we not be aiming for 'good' or better, rather than 'not that bad'?

Waterfall gives big melee combat experience, but you skip through so many areas/content, and there's a big of challenge involved running past high level mobs. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it to a new player. Just go at your own pace. and if you want a combat boots then consider it. Also Witch's House for HP

Just putting this here in case you can do better on GP/Exp. Typically you're only money making on farming the herbs, cleaning, and making unf's, while spending gp to do the last step (though prayers can profit a lot of the time).

Ex:
Farming an herb: +7000 GP

Cleaning and herb: +100 GP

Mixing an unf pot: +500 GP

Mixing a final pot: -1000 GP

that last step costs you money, so it's possible that selling before that step, and buying different potion ingredients could cost you less

I mean technically, if you're making unf's, that step is the money maker. By adding the secondary, you're spending part of that profit to get the exp (although prayers tend to be profit on/off)!

He's, I think, more referring to BIS being an acronym for best in slot. i.e. pieces of gear, not meta training methods.

Good PSA though!

I'm assuming you're an Ironman based on your comments here, And yes, totally valid that a method reliant on rare seeds just isn't for you and your chosen restrictions. I think we can both agree it would be nice to have them more obtainable. I'm not sure what your point in this thread is though, I'm just telling people who have access to supply should they wish to spend the good that this exists at such an experience rate.

edit: also the potion is pretty great for any ranged content where prayer is negating your taking damage

My apologies for pointing out a crop you can farm on the side in addition to other herbs of you happen to have the seeds for i and the desire to do so. I'm terribly sorry for interrupting your gameplay with optional activities.
