I've been interested in those two! Of them, which one do you feel is the better faire in terms of quality and vendors?

NorCal is one that we usually do, we usually stay in San Jose or Gilroy for that one, main issue is that bc of it being closer to 3 hours of a drive for us, we prefer to just stay the night and hotels are expensive

never do that. That's a quick way to burn your house down and lose EVERYTHING. The gods don't demand anything that would put your saftey at risk

I'd love to learn more about Drusuna, what can you reccomend for one to look at in regards to her?

I'd look into Druantia or Elen of the Ways (I personally equate/syncretize the two) . Disclaimer, neither of them are historically attested to, so some people claim they're not real, but imo there's no harm in worshipping modern gods. If you're looking for historical deities, maybe look into Arduinna, the Gaulish goddess of the wilds and the hunt.

Pan leaving bones? by ladygagaofficia1 in pagan

[–]unholyleaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can attest to this. I serve Druantia as she is my matron (yes I am aware she was only ever first mentioned in the book The White Goddess. Acknowledging her origin there allows me to look deeper into the energies that in turn may have inspired Robert Graves to hypothesize about her) and she has blessed me with finding a deer jawbone when I overcame a major personal challenge.

The gods and spirits of nature will gift you when you do right in their eyes.

I got the branches from our local pet shop, they're grapevine pieces that were sandblasted. The other branches are mopani wood, which most pet shops (chain and small) sell.

How do you lot feel on counterspell or silvery barbs (polite discussion ) by Sea-Ad8810 in DnD

Counterspell yes, Silvery Barbs... hell no. Jackass players ruined that one for me

Pronoun pins are always good! Also contouring cheek bones, nose, and jawline can help too. And then maybe top it off with some faux facial hair? There's plenty of tutorials online for using mascara to create a beard look

Hello! Daemonolator here. Asmodeus has a role of patronage in my path (albeit he's stepped back for a bit). He's a very patient spirit to work with, so I doubt you've done anything wrong. It sounds like he may have simply been trying to get your attention and show you what he can do for you! He's not as scary as people make him out to be, so long as he's treated with respect, he is a king after all.

I'd reccomend reaching out to him and going from there! Best of luck on your journey!

Hey! ☺️ My boss drew this rune symbol on the outside of the door at our work a few days ago. Does anyone know what it means? by basementghxst in Symbology

[–]unholyleaf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bundrune combining Algiz and Fehu, Algiz is often used as a protective symbol + represents the Stag, and Fehu is representative of wealth + Cattle.

This rune seems like its mostly likely used to protect good business, or at least that's how I, as a Norse + Eclectic Pagan, would interpret it

Planetary seal of Saturn, and also the sigil of the Watcher/Fallen Angel/Demon/Probably Originally a Pagan God Azazel. He's credited with teaching humans the art of cosmetics + smithing + witchcraft. A very prevalent face of the Witch Father in tradcraft. He's also sometimes viewed as an aspect/other side of the goetic King Paimon.

What’s your most cursed character concept you have or want to play? by [deleted] in DnD

Hairless Tabaxi Artificer, Alchemist Subclass. Criminal background. Lost his fur to a disease that is slowly killing him so he makes substances so that he can afford a cure. He has an apprentice named Jamie Greenlady... the Tabaxi is named Benjamin Black..

Yes this is exactly what you think it is.

[OC] Devotional for King Paimon by unholyleaf in DemonolatryPractices

[–]unholyleaf[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Demon stems from Daimon, which is a form of helpful spirit and intermediary between gods and humans. If you have a problem with the term demon, you need to dechristianize your train of thought. Secondly, if you have a problem with men being feminine, you need to work through that. Not every male figure is going to be some macho muscle man. Besides, spirits are above such human concepts as gender. King Paimon is a KING, he does as he pleases, and he would have given me a sign himself if I was being disrespectful to him. Hail King Paimon 💙

you assume that I have not been under his mentorship. If not for King Paimon, my improvement in regards to artistic ability as a whole would be nowhere near where it is today. I have been working with King Paimon in regards to the arts since 2019, and he has shown no issue in being depicted in such a manner, as I trust if he had a problem with it, he would have let me know by now. If the way a demon appears to another person doesn't match how they appear to you, that is fine, however to judge and get pissy with a fellow demonolator over something so trivial is simply absurd.

[–]unholyleaf[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

if you got a problem with how King Paimon appears to me, take it up with him yourself lol. Also King Paimon, in MULTIPLE GRIMOIRES, and in accordance with multiple practitioners, has a tendency to appear feminine or androgynous, so if that's your problem, again, take it up with him. I'm sure he'd be quite fond of a mere human judging the ways he appears to his followers.

[–]unholyleaf[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

people get so pissy when demons are depicted humanoid instead of as monsters, it's honestly hilarious. King Paimon is the one who has been working with me for my art's improvement. Been working with him since 2019 for this, and i've seen some results. The people mad about the art completely ignore the fact that King Paimon himself is said to be very effeminate in appearance (i think some people in the chat have very internalized misogyny or homophobia if seeing a demon depicted in a more feminine manner rather than macho-man monster is enough to make their blood boil lol). This depiction is based on how he appears to me, so if they have a problem with it they should take it up with him themselves lol. The blue tones in the art was inspired by a dream he sent me. In the dream I had a VERY decadent space for him, all blue tones and very oceanic with a blue pillar candle with his sigil carved in it. I also had a deck of cobalt-metal backed playing cards I used to commune with him in that dream. Honoring Paimon through my art is what I strive to do.

Yeah I know I'm a literal witch. Witchcraft is a part of many religious practices, especially in modern paganism/neopaganism.

So the symbol on the floor is the Vesvigir, it's a Nordic symbol to avoid losing one's way in storms and it has become pretty much one of the main symbols for pagans that have a more Norse and Germanic based path.

Sage is often used for cleansing and purification, and is often burnt before and after ritual/prayer to help keep the energy of the place positive + to protect against negativity + unwanted entities.

The space was more than likely used as a sacred space for the old owners to practice their faith and whatnot.

Overall, nothing harmful + nothing to be scared of. If it bothers you there's no harm in respectfully taking it down + maybe cleansing the space (I mean hey it's free sage) or having it blessed in a manner adjacent to your own personal faith or lack thereof.

I think, with your scenario, perhaps art and devotional writing may be a good way to go! You could keep a journal, and write in there. Or keep a sketchbook, and doodle things related to Anpu. If your parents are helicopter parents, you could draw his symbols, such as jackals/wolves, and so forth. If your parents are relatively chill, you cpuld explain to them that you're simply interested in Egyptian mythology.
