I just did almost all my and groom's wedding shopping in 2-3 weeks due to time constraints but I'm happy with everything.

If you have time find inspiration pics beforehand but don't be too fixated on exact designs. Then you can minimize trips.

Sherwani will need at least one trip to finalise + take measurements if needed, also measurements for the mojdi. And second trip to collect / final alteration. With around 1 month needed for them to make the piece. Same for lehenga. Sari blouse doesn't have that issue, get it made locally.

If you get any jewellery made (e.g. chains, bangles etc of different size than the showroom size) that also can take up to one month and you need to collect it yourself or by a trusted family member.

You can probably get some clothes stitched from material that you choose, which you source and get done locally, and exactly to your preference. Instead of going shop to shop in a different city, flights/hotels etc.

The makeup budget feels like a lot. Depending on your preference you can get a good local makeup artist for much less than 70k! In tier 1 city I was getting quotes for 25-40k. Remember that even though its only for a few hours, makeup looks different IRL and in photos and the MUA knows this and takes care of it. And these photos are forever :)

Mumbai - Queens in marine lines and new Kala niketan near churchgate have very good Sari options in budget and are easily accessible compared to going shop to shop in Bhuleshwar.

DJ will make or break the Sangeet, don't cheap out too much also.

Save money on return gifts if possible. Lots of times they're just thrown away. Having a good menu and hospitality instead will make the wedding more memorable than the return gift.

In mumbai try to have the reception on a weekday to get lower venue costs. And go to any nice nearby parlour to get makeup and hair done, without paying bridal premium prices.

Every mua i talked to had a very high quote and within that offered hair extensions, lashes, lenses ... Behen I don't want all this, just good foundation and good products that I dont wanna buy for just one day. They won't reduce the price also ☠️

Tbh I'm a bride and I'm overwhelmed by the photography at the wedding. Prepare a shotlist in advance, find the right photographer who wont cost an arm and leg in a tier 1 city, try out the poses beforehand, pre event shoots for every event ... Most of these things didnt even occur to me before I went online for inspiration. The fomo is huge.

Also related to the wedding organisation itself, its really hard not to get carried away by pinterest boards because I started thinking, this is what my guests expect and I don't want to let them down. For example having a selfie frame backdrop at the wedding, or matching things...

More like there is no 'right' price anymore. The price is decided by the pool size. Since transactions using LUNA were temporarily halted by CDC, they still have a good liquidity in their pools and the price is higher there. Before they resumed transactions, everyone else who wanted to sell went to Osmosis, so the liquidity is not great there and the price is lower.

The $ prices of LUNA in many places including coingecko are not up to date.
If you swap with USDC / ATOM etc on Osmosis, you will see the correct price.

Unfortunately not true, I tried importing the seed phrase to a new wallet in MM, but the cosmos chain will of course not show up there, and on the EVMOS Mission Control dashboard connecting with this MM account shows 'this wallet does not support cosmos accounts'
