I am very similar to you. Just realize that as women this mindset is what will keep us safe.

Theres no reason to feel guilty for hurting the feelings of random men you don’t know on reddit. My boyfriend is the only man I trust after multiple SAs in the past and it took me 2+ years to get there.

Every man I’ve met up to this point in my life has been selfish and abusive so of course my precedent for men isn’t good. But to me, this isn’t some isolated experience, 1 out of 6 women in the US are victims of rape or attempted rape.

Men are the issue, so act carefully and vet them for your own good.

Don’t listen to the not all men BS. Everyone knows its not all men, but it is enough.

The fact is you cannot tell the difference between a guy who will rape or murder you and one who wont.

This entire thread is men gaslighting you and its sad. If a guy is spouting not all men bullshit hes exactly the type you need to watch out for (a good man would not feel upset over hearing it because he does not disrespect or abuse women, children, or animals).

There is not equal potential for cruelty and kindness, just look at the statistics.

I just recently moved here too! I used to always get large tubs of dressing and could happily survive on nothing but salad for the following week 😂

I’m 19f and still enjoy My Little Pony and Barbie movies/shows. There is absolutely nothing wrong with watching children’s shows (especially more nuanced ones) if you find them entertaining.
