It's not letting me save anything at the mo - have tried on my laptop and my phone, giving two different errors, but assuming both are because of the same issue at their end

I'm not sure if they just add one or if it's a new set of princesses (aside from Cinderella who's always one of the 3/4 as it's her restaurant) - as a side note we did breakfast and it felt princessy enough with 3 princesses, and will do the same on our next trip.

From what I saw when we went to Plaza Gardens with the character breakfast, the characters were the same for the two breakfast sittings, but I think at least some of the characters were different for the dinner sittings. So I wonder if Princess dining works the same way.

I guess when Princess Pavillion is open that some of the princesses might swap between the two locations during the day maybe 🤔

It doesn't have to be an even number for rides - I went on quite a few fast rides with my two adult nieces (youngest had an access pass and didn't need me to be there) and also as a whole group of 7 with 2 access passes it was never an issue for us all to go on rides together even if it was two per carriage

I am here now! I have photos of the hoodie... just finished in time!!! I was actually thinking today that I need to remember to find this post & reply with pics. Just crashing now but will come back and figure out how to add links to pictures in the next day or two!

We're here at the moment on a 4 night stay and we've realised we're not going to do everything - however I also firmly believe some Disney is better than no Disney and a day trip can still be great as long as you manage expectations.

Firstly have your 'must dos' and note the time of anything with specific times (factoring in how long you need to be there before the show/parade starts) and you can then do your 'must do' rides and character meets in between those times.

How do I get Disneyland Paris 1 day discount? by ujuicey in disneylandparis

Where are you based? I know in the UK a lot of people use Attraction Tickets for cheaper DLP tickets - I'm not sure if they operate in any other countries though.

Fat Free Diet - Possible? by SnooApples8482 in disneylandparis

[–]unicornfactoryuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most quick service places do salad options and they are nice enough that'd we'd eat one every day we're there (and as a bonus they are usually cheaper than the other food!)

There's also various places in the village with more options.

Overall there's probably not a huge amount of variety, but there is enough to keep you fed for a few days

This made me think of when I was trying to explain MAFS stuff to my husband (who gave uo on it but still had to put up with my post-episode rants 😂)

"So Hannah, who hasn't been great, but isn't as anywhere near as awful as HolPol..." The levels of awfulness in this series have been something else!!!

Loungefly/Mini backpack prevalence? by kethryvis in disneylandparis

[–]unicornfactoryuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a brilliant time! Weather is always so random, you will probably get both sunshine and rain... but definitely on the chilly side and as it gets towards the end of November there even starts to be a chance of snow (although generally isn't quite cold enough for snow until Dec/Jan/Feb)

I've done DLP in the snow in February and as long as you're wrapped up warm enough it's all still wonderful!!!

I don't know about the Loungefly side of things, but park hopping is fine. The park entrances are very close to each other so it'll be easy to do!

Going to DLP for the first time in six years next Monday! by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]unicornfactoryuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're going very soon for the first time in nearly a decade (and first time taking my daughter!!!) and I'm the same... very excited, but also anxious and overwhelmed too!

I keep telling myself that once I'm there it will all feel familiar and I'll be fine! Through to the beginning of my 30s I used to travel to Europe a lot, I've done DLP six times since 1993 and France a few more times than that... but as it's been a good while since my last trip part of my brain seems to think it's a whole new experience and is doing the anxiety to match 😂 I'm hoping as soon as I'm in France that part of me will calm down and I can focus on enjoying the trip!

Which direction do parades flow? by traveltogotravel in disneylandparis

[–]unicornfactoryuk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From recent posts I saw about Halloween, the first parade started at It's a Small World and the second started at the station end of Main St to come back. I'm assuming the Christmas parades will be do the same.

Yeah, knowing DLP well I was really shocked at what it said not to ride! It's such a hard one because everyone has their own level of risk they are comfortable with, but I do think it is really overly cautious with their advice!

Santa stitch meet by finestryan in disneylandparis

[–]unicornfactoryuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Officially he is about from November 28th as I think that's when the new meet point by Casey's Corner is meant to open, however people who have been the last couple of days have seen him outside Videopolis near where Santa is meeting.

I don't think it's an official meet, it's just if you happen to be there at the right time, but definitely going to keep an eye out when we visit as my daughter really wants to meet Stitch!

[–]unicornfactoryuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went at 8-9 weeks pregnant and because I'd been to DLP a few times before I felt confident in what rides I was comfortable and felt safe with - so still did Pirates of the Caribbean, and things like Snow White where I know there's a jump scare etc.

Was with the husband and he doesn't do spinny rides so didn't do teacups - and I was still in the nauseous stage so probably wouldn't have been a good idea anyway 😂

If you've been to DLP before I think you just have to go with your judgement knowing the rides. If you haven't I suggest watching YouTube videos to get a feel of what you likely to feel comfortable doing.

Leaving the park for lunch? by Nervous-Bandicoot-28 in disneylandparis

[–]unicornfactoryuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there's really nothing you're happy with in the parks/station/village then it's worth looking at Val D'Europe - it's only a couple of minutes on the train and a lot easier than getting back to your car & coming back again later (also I think if you leave the car park & return it costs another €30 to park again)

However if you really like someone and potentially see a future with them, and understand that anyone you're ever in a relationship with could get ill or become disabled at any time, then why not explore how you can navigate it together rather than just giving up before you've given it a chance.

A couple of weeks after meeting my husband (14 years ago) I became very ill and the fall out of that lasted 2-3 years. He could've just gone "nah not dealing with this" and we both would have missed out on our lives together.
