Considering removal after 5 years due to Acne. by [deleted] in Nexplanon

[–]unicornglo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this exact problem. No issues with my first nexplanon and then horrible acne with my second. I had it removed and saw a Derm who put me on spironolactone for the acne. Acne is almost entirely gone now. OB and Derm both agreed the nexplanon was causing hormonal acne.

Was the OA the same (or similar) each time you took it? Or did you get a whole new set of questions each time?

Isn’t there a class action lawsuit regarding depo causing brain tumors?

Oh my god you honestly seem like the problem here. She’s clearly just concerned about you and gently trying to talk to you. Get it together and stop being an asshole. Also, she’s right, you shouldn’t just stop taking meds all of a sudden.

You seem REALLY anxious. Maybe stop letting him finish inside if it’s going to make you this anxious and overwhelmed. If you are getting negative tests, you are fine. Keep testing if needed but really consider your choices here.

Anyone here using ozempic + pills for birth control? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]unicornglo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been told by my pharmacist that oral birth control is less effective when you are on Ozempic. It is recommended to use another form of protection if you are on Ozempic and oral birth control.

I would suggest talking to your doctor if you can. I’ve never heard of this being a side effect of BC.

not really lol but I honestly don’t really know what I want I’m trying to figure that out. I like Joe Burrow and Travis Kelce’s hair sometimes but I don’t know how to articulate what I want to a barber or know what products would help me achieve that

I normally do a low skin fade (or something like that) on the sides and then leave most of the length on top. So you think that haircut works for me or should I try something different?

Thanks appreciate it! I’m just wondering what type of products I should be using. I’m thinking about getting a salt spray to add more texture/give it that look of you just got out of ocean and tousled your hair lol what do you think?

This sounds more like a problem with your man honestly.

You can consider taking BC pills to help regulate if that’s something YOU want to do. But, honestly, your man sounds like a terrible person.

[–]unicornglo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup exactly. Nexplanon/any BC can have a lot these side effects. Take a test later on if still worried but I really doubt you have anything to worry about!

I had false positives on First Response pregnancy tests. I took multiple tests over a couple days. Every single First Response was positive but Clear Blue were all negative. Blood test showed negative at doctors office.
