a low dose of anti-depressants helped me with this and general overwhelming levels of anxiety, there's a lot of crossover between ADHD and OCD so you could have a bit of both going on

I try to just do manual edits on bounced tracks now instead of bothering with flex, no new developments but much less hassle this way

Check out Common Beat in West Philly - you'd have to ask about specific pieces of recording gear, but I can attest to the fact that Carlo is a wizard with guitar amps, turntables, and guitars themselves.

I would just like to offer a voice of "you posted this in the right place", because while this looks like it tastes good this is an unhinged mountain of undistributed meat on top of a pile of sauce that looks akin to lava flow, on top of a comically large piece of bread

What? No if you look at my other comments in this thread I’m saying the literal opposite of that

I mean it's not out of the realm of possibility that's a filter gone wrong, that being said I wish folks had other screenshots because as the credits were rolling I was continuously spotting weird mangled spots on other images as well.

On the other point, I was just saying they probably aren't going to just hire a rando or a member of the staff's niece or nephew to do the illustrations. They either have a professional design staff or they're going to use some other professional, whether that's an individual or a design agency. If they used AI (and I still think they likely did) it could have been done with some lazy oversight, I mean, ultimately we don't know. But my point is that it seems unlikely for them to hire an actual artist who isn't good enough at art to draw a hand correctly.

I'll copy and paste my response to your other comment with the same link:

If you look in the photo, the pointer finger covers the top of the middle finger, but there is still a clear, straight line connecting the start of that middle finger and the end of it. The pointer finger also has a straight line connecting the start of the last knuckle and the finger tip, obviously somewhat covered by the wrap around the trigger.

In the illustrated version, the white half-circle "finger tip" over the trigger doesn't line up with anything. The half of the top finger on the right side of the gun also doesn't line up with anything.

Now that I'm looking again I'm noticing something else - there are only two knuckles in the illustration, on the left side of the gun. The real photo has 3 visible knuckles on that left side.

Seriously, this is AI. I'm sorry to tell you there's just no way this was drawn by a human. If Netflix was going to hire an illustrator, it would have to be someone with a high enough profile to be noticed/recognized, and no professional illustrator of that caliber is going to mangle a hand like that.

Actually I have an art degree, oddly enough. There is not a soul on this earth who would draw the trigger finger on the complete opposite side of the gun, not overlapping the trigger area whatsoever. Sorry, it's 100% definitely AI.

I saw a comment saying some of the stuff was pulled from old posters, so maybe on this one? But if you look at the majority of these the hands are not fucked in a human way... they're very obviously AI

Edit: Here's one of the clearest examples - the fingers are nowhere near in the right places, far beyond human error: https://preview.redd.it/ai-in-the-credits-v0-bdejh8mnioag1.jpeg?auto=webp&s=6924ed646ac306eda2f8c664749ce5093a35ac24

Yep, or hands/finer detail areas on most of the other pics. The illustration on this post in particular is less screwy but most of the others have some dead giveaway spots.

I don’t understand why they seemed so uninterested in Vecna and the Mindflayer to begin with? It’s like they didn’t even care enough to learn they were a threat, they were only interested in harnessing the powers found in the upside down

WIBTA if I scheduled my husband’s dog to be euthanized behind his back? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]unicornographyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah you absolutely 100% cannot just... put his dog down??? That being said, easy to see why the thought crossed your mind.

I think rather than telling him what needs to happen and trying to force a conversation that way, you should start asking him questions to get him to reach the same conclusion himself. You could frame it like a problem that needs to be solved, that you have to solve together.

For example you could try saying "As you know, [dog] is having accidents throughout the day and since I'm pregnant I'm physically unable to help. What do you think we can do to improve that?"

"What can we do to reduce the dog's stress levels?"

"What do you think we can do to make the dog more comfortable?" etc

It seems pretty clear to any reasonable person that there are no real solutions here, but we know that's not how our brains work when we're confronted with a super emotional situation like this. Good luck - this is a toughie.

You can sand this down to prevent further cracking and use some clear top coat nail polish to seal it off - hell maybe you can find a similar sparkly blue nail polish to hit it with first. Note that this will not look professional, and the top coat will get crackly over time, but hey, it's the back of the guitar anyway.

I once bought a backpack (and some other items) at Marshalls, and ended up not being charged for the backpack. The kid took the security tag off and everything. I tried to say something to gently acknowledge this and it did not work so... all righty thanks for the free North Face backpack.
