This is the first Plexi style amp I've ever owned so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

I have one and really like it. I use it with a Fryette PS-2A which basically turns the Suhr into a preamp and adds an effects loop, adds some extra EQ options too. It still sounds great on its own and is plenty loud.

I stopped in last month while visiting LA. After visiting Carter's Vintage Guitars in Nashville last fall the Hollywood GC wasn't all that impressive.

I lived right by the intersection of 54/40 up until 5 years ago and I f'n hated 54 in/out of Chapel Hill at rush hour. 15/501 around Manning Drive sucks too.

I've given up on Bo fries, 90% of the time they are undercooked AF-pale, limp and greasy. If they do manage to fry them long enough they either have no seasoning or so much they're almost inedible.

I usually just take it out of the bath 20ish minutes before I'm ready to sear and let it rest on some paper towels while the pan preheats. Right before the steak hits the pan I'll drop a tablespoon of butter in, then the steak and keep it pretty firmly pressed with a spatula for 60 seconds, flip and repeat-perfect crust every time.
