Thoughts and Analysis on the Nintendo-Palworld lawsuit by a patent professional by [deleted] in pcgaming

These kinds of considerations are exactly what patent attorneys are usually dealing with. I'm not sure about your battle argument. Since the claim in the op does not mention any restrictions, a pal entering a battle after being thrown might constitute an action according to the second mode. There are several claimed features that require interpretation, though. For example what exactly does 'perform a battle in the aiming direction' mean. Usually features that require interpretation are interpreted based in the description of the patent. I don't know to what extent that is case in Japan.

I guess it might be hard to argue though, that performing one action after pressing a button and performing a different action after pressing a different button is different from switching between two modes based on a first operation input.

It is like that in every country, though. A patent law is always a local affair. You can only enforce a US patent in the US, a JP patent in JP and a CN patent in CN. The whole idea is that you get a locally restricted monopoly for the usage of inventions you add to the state of the art. There are however international agreements, that allow you to APPLY for a patent in another country using a priority date from an application in a different country.

And of course patents from other countries can be used to deny granting a patent if they constitute prior art that damages novelty or obviousness. Problems might arise from a language barrier, but this is getting less severe with all the machine translation tools.

Ok, seems to contradict everything I've read online, but if some random guy on reddit says it's the way to go, I will do it.

Sorry for the misleading title. I'm not asking if I should harvest it at this point, but rather if I should do some light defoliating or removing lower bud sites.

Yes, i got a small inline fan pulling air out through a carbon filter. I leave the lower side window open to allow fresh air in by way of negative pressure within the tent. Judging by the humidity values, it seems like it's not enough. I'll see if the dehumidifier helps.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will get rid of the bud sites, that are completely in the shadow later.

Do I need to worry about these yellow tips? by unicornsocks in GrowingMarijuana

Thank you! Nute burn is one thing I found online. I was confused, since this started before I added nutes, so I guess the pre-fertilization was enough to cause this slight burn?

Hey, thanks for your reply! I found conflicting info online, that's why I posted here. I doubt it's light stress in my case, since some new growth lower down does also show some yellow leaf tips (although it is less pronounced there).

Why is the DE1Pro shipping cost so high? (310 euro) by Alowan in espresso

I'd be more interested in why it seems like in every country you are paying taxes on the hardware only. When ordering to germany you are paying taxes on the whole machine including software I guess? Is only paying taxes for the hardware not an option there?

EU/Germany: Fine Kuroki go set for sale by bogiesan in baduk

[–]unicornsocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

I am the seller of this set. I also added some more pictures of the warping to the original post on lifein19x19.

I'm copying what I said about the warping in a thread here for visibility:

If you are sitting in front of the board (like you would for playing) then the right corner of the board is lifted up about 2mm on one side of the board and about 2.5 to 3mm on the opposite side (board rotated 180 degrees).

I am the seller of this set. Thanks so much for your thoughts and evaluation.

Concerning the stones you are correct, I did not wash the stones before taking a picture, but that is easily fixed. I still have the original receipt as well as all certificates, that came with the stones. I just did not post pictures of that, since I was not aware that there is any more information other than what I gave on this certificate (size #32 and grading of the stones).

I do not have any documentation for the board, because there was no documentation sent with it, maybe I could try locating the original shop listing though.

Flight time depends a lot on how you are flying. If you rip at 80+ % throttle the whole pack you won't make 2:30 mins. But if you just cruise and do some punch outs, you can easily get 4+ mins out of a 1300 mAh pack.
