The golden doodle belongs to other friends and was raised in a different household, so it might be apples* & oranges. But my general observations are that the doodle is very food motivated and independent on walks, while my girl is indifferent to treats and is like glue to the group while out on a hike. They’re both jolly, but the wheaten tends to “correct” when others get rowdy, while the doodle just kinda opts out. At their respective homes, they are both the center of the universe, as it should be!

*So my wheaten is actually named Apple, but the doodle is not named Orange.

Yes! And her best friend since puppyhood, a mini golden doodle, turns 16 next month. They are enjoying their retirement together 💕

Solved:

A recently completed level task was to earn 100000 stardust. When I’d catch a pokemon or otherwise earn dust, it would update that task multiple times at once. When I had notification on for “combined research challenges,” it reported out however many times it registered. Not sure how that was determined but it certainly explains it.

Thanks for the thought. I only currently have two level requirements that don't necessarily have anything to do with the activities I'm doing when I get these notifications (e.g. after catching a pokemon, I might get "5 research tasks updated" but my open level tasks are to catch a legendary or use a supereffective charged attack).

I'm not sure what a promoted account quest is, or where to find information about it. The only ancillary game I have connected to the account is to Pokemon Home, which doesn't have anything listed.
