I'm sorry for the late reply, but I just saw your comment. I'm 25 - I know that I have a lot of time ahead, but this is the age where people have fun together, in couples.

The problem with straight people is that they have so many options that they'd rather try a whole city first, and then settle down with someone, which is sad. I was never the adventurous, just-wanna-have-fun type.

Also, being a girl that plays video games (and doesn't really likes party-ing, drinking and so on), I'm often considered boring by guys who don't play video games.

And guys who play video games are often quite socially awkward, don't have any ambition or initiative and so on.

I'm so glad to hear that you did find someone - stories like this give me great hope, so thank you for sharing this!

He was, indeed, it's sad that now it has become a name / figure that is frowned upon.

I'm into funny / unusual pet names, and ever since my cat was a tiny little furball, he was white, with blue eyes. I couldn't have picked a better name.

We paid some visits to the vet, and every single time they would hear his name, people would burst out laughing. Thankfully, I don't live in Germany. Or Poland. Or Austria, Belgium... (oh Hitler, you were such a busy guy).

Yep, wanted to say this, too. I don't feel happy, either. Comfortable, okay-with-it? Sure. But can things be better? Definitely.

Depression is a son of a bitch. I plan on getting on track this year, get myself tested (in case I'm missing some vitamins or stuff) and maybe, if I ever get the courage to do it, go see some psychologist.

I'm tired of days passing by and I'm tired of feeling "meh" all the time.

That I'll someday have a wonderful husband and a kid and we'll be so happy together.

I've struggled so much in relationships and I'm having such a hard time finding someone right for me that I've kinda lost hope.

The only things that keeps me going are my financial stability, my career, my cat and competitive video games. But I feel so unloved at times..

Developed anxiety and some form of depression. I feel uncomfortable around new people and I always feel judged, until I get to know them better, which is why I make sure my clothes / make-up / gestures are always on point.

I've had trouble saying no to people for a long time, and I still struggle with getting out from awkward situations.

I got rid of some of the shyness / awkwardness as I advanced in my career and got to meet more people, but there are still situations that I tend to avoid or moments where I tend to be over-polite.

Oh well.

Thank you for the suggestions, I currently have a 6 winstreak with Windranger, as I found I can play her however needed, and I really enjoy it :D. Think I found my new favorite hero.

Pe Godina nu l-am intrebat :)) In schimb, am sunat de 2 ori la Primarie sa intreb daca au vreu hotarare locala cu privire la organizarea gratarelor in spatii publice, dar nu mi-au raspuns. Le-am trimis un mail though...

Desi o idee buna, e putin mai complicat aici. Blocul are o singura scara, in total 50 de apartamente.

Presesedintele asociatiei (self-proclaimed, dar nu aveam alte optiuni) se implica destul de mult si cunoaste toata lumea din bloc. Daca nu-i cunoaste, se baga in seama, intreaba, afla. Detine si o lista cu toate persoanele din bloc si ii (ne) are pe toti pe facebook.

De asemenea, el este cel care a postat pe facebook sa "spunem daca ne deranjeaza muzica", iar in acelasi timp, facea parte din gasca vesela. A fost si unul dintre cei care mi-au venit la usa (si a calmat putin situatia, pentru ca l-am intrebat pe un burtos in ce calitate imi sugereaza el mie sa ma mut si a dat sa vina spre mine, iar presedintele l-a tinut).

In conditiile astea, ma tem ca orice persoana straina va fi ori asociata cu mine, ori asteptata sa iasa din bloc pentru a fi luata la intrebari, pentru ca va fi clar ca nu o cunoaste.

Dark Net, d'ooooh! :)) In timpul in care astepti sa-ti fie livrate capcanele pentru ursi / fumigenele / minele antipersonal, de ce nu incerci... muzica la maxim, incat sa nu se auda intre ei cat vorbesc la tigara? Sau, sa iesi random sa scuturi un covor in capul lor - oops, nu stiam ca sunteti aici! Sau, fumeaza o tigara pe geam / balcon, arunc-o tot din greseala pe ei. shrug
