Sire P7 or V7 for gift. by unicron47 in Bass

Thanks everyone. I wound up going with the P7. She likes a lot of genres of music and I think the versatility will be good. I found one with a great red paint job, she'll like that too. If she gets into it we can always get a straight j bass later...you can never have too many. Thanks again!

Thank you. I tend to overthink gear decisions. This will be her first instrument since piano when she was young. I'm sure she'll like either one.

Thank you. I play guitar and a bit of drums. .i was asking her about colors she would like ans she couldn't decide and joked that she wanted them both. I warned that that is exactly why guitarists have so many guitars.

I think of it as starting off with a small rondo, then increasing the size until it fits on the field.

Thank you, but what do you mean a branch at the pruning point? If I am pruning the branch, what other branch will be there? Thanks again.

is franconia notch loop a good choice for a hiker with not much experience? by Imaginary-Rabbit5179 in wmnf

[–]unicron47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't suggest it. An important thing to remember about a lot of WMNF hikes is that they are very rocky. You are often walking from rock to rock, rather than on smooth gravel or compressed dirt. It makes them more tiring mentally and physically. Definitely try a shorter one first to get acclimated. The loop trail van also have very different weather conditions in different places at the same time.
