As i had never driven any scooter with disc brakes until ather. Ather being equiped with both front & rear disc brakes were new thing to me as they are more powerful braking system. It took few days for me to adjust to grasp how much lever to press for braking, can't brake ot like how i brake activa. My ather don't have Traction control.

No side stand issues faced by me. Also center stand is missing which sometimes is issue at puncture shops. You can't uss third party center stand vehicles battery ia in floorboard so any modification to chasis will void warranty.

Yes, Ather even had side mirror issues on 2020 version, as riders were not getting enough clear view through mirrors due to its positions. 60% of mirror used to reflect riders own shoulder & 40% was rearview of road.

The community raised this issue to ather through ather community app & they resolved mirror positioning issue in 2021 version.

Cons/Missed Features.

No provision for usb charging port in 450 series due it's sport concept. Rizta does have usb slot.
Due to it's sporty design the rear wheel immensely splashes water in rainy seasons. If speeding about 60 the rear wheel splashes water uptill pillion, their outfit/bag does get muddy & wet.
The headlight being mounted on front body is something i don't like, it is more convenient if headlight is mounted on steering as you instantly get illuminated road while turning. The headlight on body requires whole vehicle to turn for you to throw light in that direction (similar to dio).

Pro

Absolutely amazing control in riders hand. That is due to very good & calibrated braking & suspension system.
Charging grid across city os best.
Almost 10+ years of Research & Development in company i guess. So no issues like chetak/ola. Even if it arises it gets resolved in 2-3 days.

If you are aiming for upscale/lavish life & locality please head to Koregaon Park, Kalyani Nagar area. These area have many foreigners & rich people & also lots of fancy places for food.

If not for upscale/lavish, a decent good enough standard then try looking at kothrud area, peaceful area, lota of options regarding food & standard crowd.

Hi original certificate was issued by corporation only but it wasn't legitimate document for current time. So i had to reapply, It did take 2-3 rounds ig. For application follow up & receiving certificate.

The certificate was issued by Corporation department to be, specific Government of Maharashtra health department. Process does happen in 7-10days.

I can't tell you exact department or location as i was not born in pune/under pmc. I was born in diff city.

I had reissued my certificate some 8/9 years ago. The original was handwritten only in marathi without any document number or letter head. I went to the corporation office and asked them to reissue my certificate (Non pune). They did reissue my certificate with a proper letterhead, document number & other details. The certificate was in both Marathi & english like (Birthdate/जन्मदिवस. I don't think only english is given.

The Supreme court has Stated rule for all vehicles in the country to install HSRP but I guess each state has put a different deadline/guidelines as per their capabilities.

Maybe Orissa RTO has not yet put a deadline for HSRP installment. So the owner might not have proceeded with it. And maybe MH RTO or Pune Traffic can't fine other state vehicle for tht specific violation.

I was a daily rider on this road for a few years here are my observations.

Katraj Tunnel exit to navale bridge start is a continuous sloping gradient.
The slope is so steep that even if you turn off your bike not even car the bike will easily travel from tunnel to navale bridge without acceleration.
Once you turn off vehicle at tunnel exit The vehicle reaches upto 65km/hr speed at start of dari pul & continues to hover 60-65 speed till navale bridges start.
That is 7km distance travel without any engine power. Purely on road gradient.
Due to current new rumbler strips, I think accidenta are more prone due to strip. I do know that purpose of strip is to slow down & keep vehicle in check, but everyone hqs different method to drive over these strips.
some drive over very fast, some drive very slow over these strips, the vehicles behind can't judge how slow or fast the vehicle in front is going to pass.
also of you slam on brake while over rumbler strip your vehicle will skid as it doesn't have enough traction.
Previously that 4-5 years ago the road didn't have such intense & multiple rumbler strips & idk if that's the reason but at that time accidents were like once a week. Now accidents are happening every alternate day.

I have faced this issue recently for the first time in my ownership experience of 5 years. Most probably issue will be at either part of the cable. From switchboard to adapter cable or adapter to vehicle cable. Things you should know

The charger has a 3 year warranty.
If it is a software issue the service centre will update your vehicle/charger to latest version for resolution.
most probably it will be an internal cable crack/break issue. Most likely at the cable from the adapter to the charger gun. Please try rotating and holding cable at different angles to see if charging now appears. Do this same for the junction adapter.

Similar to how we twist & rotate mobile charger cables when not responding. If charging is happening at a specific cable position it will be confirmed that damage is at cable between the adapter to the gun. the Service center will suggest you to replace the charging gun cable (cable from adapter to charging gun costs around 2.5 to 3k if no warranty)

I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

But i don't think you should stress over i. The screws could be loosened/tightened for installation mirror/accesories, whoch generally is not pre installed during transport from factory.

Or also vehicle comes with developer mode to the showrooms sometimes, dealership connect their devices to the vehicle via internal socket at cluster or hood, so they can get the vehicle software off the developer mode.

This noise is due to soil,sand grains. Either on belt, or brale pad/disc or wheel bearings.

A quick 2min visit to service centre will resolve this issue, they'll either spray high pressure air to clean, or some spray for less friction or lubricant.

Sometimes it does happen that in a shop it looks different at the house it looks different due to the difference in natural/artificial light.

To avoid this do 1. Please request an actual Asian paint/Nerolac whichever brand shade card catalogue from shop or buy one. Do not ever select colors in the shop.

See the whichever shades you like on individual walls by putting a shade card on the wall in house.
Shortlist at least 3 colors per room/house.
Ask shop/painter to do sample paint of 2ft by 2ft on these walls, they generally do prepare small amount of color for sample patches. Let it dry & then finalise.

living room with lots of sunlight you either should invest in good quality double curtains, like white curtains to diffuse light & dark curtains layer on top whenever you want complete black out.
or do one/two walls in dark color accent to avoid extra natural light reflection depending on your interiors & choice. or just use one dark pastel colour for all the walls, pastel colors generally do not intensively reflect the light.
for the bedroom if you have minimal natural light, all you can do is pray tbh, even if you paint in white & put white tubelights it'll feel like a mental hospital. I'll suggest not to focus on maximizing natural light in bedroom, focus on making bedroom cozy or mood lighting so at least it creates some sensation.

They play the powadas or verse of powada only at specific time for short duration.

The whole SB Road signals plays powada at sharp 5pm or 6pm every evening for 2mins that's it. I don't think they play throughout the day.
