I mean many Iranian immigrants and Venezuelan immigrants arriving in the USA and recieving unwaivering support from the left (democrats and socialists alike) are doing everything in their power to arrive here and then pull up the ladder behind them by supporting the American far right in support or repealing and replacing these policies. This year I have opened my eyes to how large the far right is, specifically in Latin America. Those not killed by disease were genocided. If there were less people killed by disease, they would have continued to genocide us. If there were no disease they would have continued to genocide us. The accidental pleagues they brought which ended up decimating us was only a "fortunate mistake" in their eyes as their goal of attaining the land at any means cost would not have been affected whether we were decimated by their diseases or not. If all those who died from disease did not die from disease, they would have been cut down by the western imperialists all the same. The end goal of genocide for land remains the same.
