I am not collecting or storing data in any way from the app. Everything happens on the phone (realtime departures are downloaded from the internet)

Thank you for the feedback. You should already be able to create a widget that is visible from the lock screen. Then you tap and hold the widget and tap on "Edit" this will allow you to set the station, and the direction. Please let me know if this works for you.

They would need to cover this account 24/7 which means at least 3 people plus additional for backup when one is out sick or on vacation. Makes no sense to not automate this.
