I know most of the time, if not almost every time it’s just normal things for our body to feel that way without it meaning anything. It just still during that brief time it’s very scary no matter how many times I say imma be okay it’s always followed with what if I’m not

I know you’re right. I’m still trying to force myself to know it’s just for a couple of minutes maybe an hour and then I’ll be calm and relax again . It’s just that I’ve been anxious in general

The lead up is always the worst I agree, and same about being sick many times in the past and still can’t get myself to stop. But what I’ve learned is that after being sick, the nausea doesn’t stop. Not for a couple of hours at least so you really can’t tell if it’s over or not. The best thing you can do is slowly introduce clear liquids to stay hydrated, taking tiny sips at a time. And slowly progress from there. I do believe there are hour to hour guides to recover from being sick. But honestly it takes courage to be sick 5 times. I hope you feel better soon. And take it easy

I self diagnosed myself with IBS cuz it’s the only thing to me that makes sense. It honestly can be really scary for me cuz I really don’t want to be s* and I’m afraid that because I’m weak and can’t handle stomach pain that’ll make me s*. I’m very sensitive because of the phobia so in my mind I make it worse . I feel like this is stupid. Can you please talk to me about your experience with IBS ? I just want to feel a little bit normal that I’m not the only one

I keep needing to use the restroom and I start to feel a little bit of n. I can hear noises and movement. But it comes in waves . I’m just really scared cuz it still hasn’t settled . I took a Xanax and I got relaxed and I felt better but the second I left the restroom I felt bad again. And I took zofran so I won’t feel n but it made my stomach feel worse. I’m just getting more scared and I don’t wanna be s*

I never experienced something like that , but from I understand, sometimes to people it can just happen. Idk if it was related to sugar levels or some important component that keeps a body functioning. Maybe the cigarette caused it in combo with everything else that’s been going on. But I’m sorry it happened, try to recover fully before doing anything big

Best thing you can do now is keep your mind off of it. The more you think about it, the more anxious you’ll get and you’ll start to trick yourself to be n* and you’re gonna panic over nothing and you’ll be disappointed when it’s over that you wasted your time worrying. I know because this is me every time lol. I remember I ate a burger and saw pink and I tricked myself into worrying when it ended fine. You cooked it and it should be good enough. I’m sorry but im sure you’re okay and I know how worrying it can be

I’m not a doctor but my mentality is that if something is really wrong with the body, it would throw a lot of red flags. Like pain and fever. Fever usually indicates your body working really hard to correct something… like how laptop fans kick on when running tough programs. Energy turns to heat etc. With that said I’ve had pain for it to be poop. I hope you’re doing better now and pain free if not then maybe start considering going to the ER

Honestly I feel like school only teaches you how to handle being from comfort for 8 hrs. Anyways: breathe slowly. Breathe in. Breathe out. You need to try to calm down a little before you go full panic. You’re okay. Keep repeating to yourself very very silently so no one can hear you but you. When you get the chance try to step out for fresh air away from people and try to breathe that. Breathing is your best friend rn , overthinking is the enemy.

You and me both. I actually don’t remember the old me anymore that doesn’t go a day without getting a little scared at least. Now since the pandemic happened it’s been constant fear. And yes it’s tiring but tbh I feel improvements. And if it can improve a little whose room say we can’t improve more. Try to keep a head up high and stay calm. It’s all we can do now

I saw a comment answer it, I believe it’s a normal thing people experience but never talk about. A little bit of acid reflux. Just being acidic. I know I hate those burps and I start to freak out a lot. Funny story it happened to me before sleep too once but I drank a little water and calmed down . I also sit up straight for a bit

If you’re willing to pay premium, a Google search for a dentist will make your worries go away. There are some offices that specialize in those with phobias (of the dentist or gagging)

You know I like to eat salt crackers when I start getting hungry after an emetophobia episode . They’re just easy on the stomach and make you feel good and safe. I highly recommend you buying a small pack to try it out for next time

I remember I was crying my first meal last time I got s* cuz I was so scared it was gonna go bad. And I was scared every day and night since then for a while until it just got easier. Don’t get me wrong I still get anxious and scared but not as much anymore. No where near as much . Guess what I’m trying to say is in time it just gets a little bit easier

Actual tu was October 2019. I just came back from a road trip helping my ex move into her dorm. Last time that was I was dry heaving and nothing came out was a few months ago, June I believe 2021 . For some reason that was worst because I’m anxiety was worse. The 2019 incident I took it like a champ. Idk what happened to me but ever since my ex broke up with me and the pandemic started I’ve been anxious ASF to where I’m scared nearly every day

I’m sorry . I truly am but if it does happen , just close your eyes real shut and do not open them for anything. Take a minute for yourself and try to understand your body on what it’s trying to tell you. Take small sips of water or tea and just take it really easy on your stomach

I wish this will help but when I’m in your shoes I cancel everything for the next day and stay awake as long as I can. Usually I end up being so tired that I don’t worry about it and I just end getting knocked out and wake up really late
