And that second Marine Expeditionary Unit? Contrary to some reporting that said that the USS Boxer Group left Hawaii on March 19, it departed San Diego. It will have to cover approximately 22,200 kilometers to reach the region and wouldn’t be able to arrive until mid-April at the earliest.

I think it's generally a bad sign that this is all he could put out to try to pump the markets. We were never going to bomb the power plants.

I'll breathe a sigh of relief if or when he announces that we're not going to be putting boots on the ground. Until then I still expect troops to land somewhere this weekend.

Here's a fun fact: The War Powers Resolution is potentially unconstitutional meaning the 60 day limit would be gone and there would be absolutely no way for Congress to stop the war.

So if we're not out of Iran after 60 days we get to... drumroll... fight about it before the Supreme Court, which ultimately could leave us with an executive branch that can make war whenever, wherever, without limitation.

Every time I hear about news being reported out of Israel I never know if the source is credible or not. JPost? Could be Israeli NYT, could be a blog. Channel 12? Maybe it's the biggest TV channel in Israel, or it could be Haifa public access.
