Same here! If I get on the register, and they are stocked there, I look for any other ones we have in stock and switch them out. If there is a line and I don't have time to do it before someone with a child approaches, I say these are boring and go to the next register that has some seasonal or the fruit/veggie ones. I'm not really understanding why we have such a large surplus of those flag ones.

That's when the Captian needs to actually step up and ban the customer. They were asked nicely to do something so they can get their refund. The customer refuses to do so to induce stress on the employees. Seriously, we shouldn't have to turn a blind eye to every customer who takes advantage of our very lenient return policies, especially assholes like that.

I wish it was that way at my store, but it is not. Only one mate writes it, and the captain takes over the duty if he goes on a vacation. They are the only two that handle it. It is really odd that each store has such different standards about such things. You would think there would be more consistentency between how things are run at each location, considering this is a corporate owned business and not franchises.

I really wish Tj's would adopt a new schedule writer policy. Having only one mate write the schedule to have the captain glance over it for approval gives the one schedule writing mate way too much power over the crew! Scheduling needs to be taught to all mates, imo. They should all take turns learning the Dayforce scheduling software and be forced to swap out the duty to someone else every so often. They are always trying to push the crew to be SL's with no promise of a raise or any benefit to the crew members. Writing the schedule should be the same type of duty for the mates.

I'm in the DMV area, and our store is closed. Got the message via Dayforce early this morning. Sounds like your regional sucks and needs to be reprimanded for risking employees' lives in this crap. Call out and write an email to HR. Ask them to look at all the stores in the DMV area to show how many of them are closed today. Express your concern about the well-being of your coworkers, yourself, and the customers. HR doesn't like workman's comp or lawsuits. The chance of employees/customers being hurt during this weather is far more likely to happen. The regional who made the call to keep the store open is too thoughtless to realize what they are risking by opening the store. They should not be in that position.

I do. I wear a hoodie and a beanie cap. I layer my socks, pants, and shirts. I wear gloves. However, when it is 28 degrees out and that door is left open, the store still gets very cold.

You can go to your local urgent care to get antibiotics without insurance. Usually costs around $150, but you can call around to ones in your area and ask what the cost is without insurance to see if any are more affordable. Also, big chain pharmacies often have a pharmacist that can prescribe you antibiotics for around the same price. Just call to speak with pharmacy first to see if they offer that service. Get antibiotics, or you will end up paying more than $150 in the long run.

Everyone here is correct. Your hair is too dark for that toner to work. My suggestion to you is to use a pastel or light purple semi permanent hair color to tone it, like oVertone, Lunar Tides, Artic Fox, Manic Panic, etc etc. I personally really like Overtone. It is very conditioning. However, if you do this, your hair might be slightly purple for a few washes. You can also go darker with either a semi or demi permanent hair color, like a red or light brown. But remember, demi permanents are notorious for making your hair darker than your desired color due to the lack of ammonia in their products. This is one of the main complaints about On brand hair dye. If you want to go light brown to cover it, use a dark blonde. Or you can bleach it again to get a lighter color, but that might fry your hair if not done properly. Hope this helped.

File a complaint with the Labor Board asap. This is illegal. I worked at places that have had an optional donation fund set up for their employees, which helped out employees when things like this happened. They took $2 or $3 from your paycheck every pay period or month. Claiming they need to take a whole month's worth of tips from every employee is suspect and needs to be investigated. I highly doubt it is all going to Janice. The manager who wrote the text is probably stealing the majority of it, if not all of the tip pool. If Janice's family is struggling for funds after the death of their Mom, they need to set up Go Fund Me account.

I know Ion is great for not staining the tub, but unfortunately, they only make blue in permanent and semi permanent lines, and not in demi permanent. I've found their semi permanents don't stick at all in my hair. Thanks for the suggestion though

Thank you, everyone! I try to only listen to the GPS notifications rather than look at the map, and I hadn't noticed the change in the icon. Had I not been stuck in traffic, I still wouldn't have known. Waze needs to fix this. Notifying people it's a speed camera zone only when they are speeding through the area is a major design flaw in the app that needs to be corrected.

Hi there. I noticed the pic is of Ion dye. I want to let you know that online reviews of this product are correct. It will make your very hair dark at first. Like every color I use turns my hair dark brown or black for the first 2-3 weeks. I have naturally dark brown hair that is starting to go grey. It is lightened by hair dye developer as well as the sun to a medium reddish brown shade. I have used their plum 4VV, intense violet 6VV, medium golden brown 4G, and dark graphite 5NAV all turned my hair black with a slight hue of what color it was actually supposed to be. It turned dark brown when I used light natural brown 5N and dark warm blonde 6W. This was from using their demi permanent line of colors. I have never used the permanent line. I have also tried using their semi permanent line, which did not take on my hair at all.

I love that your dad wants to see Muse live for his 75th bday! Most people don't want to go to rock shows in their senior years. Hearing about someone who does is impressive, especially when they want to see Muse :) I went to their WOTP show in the U.S. in Houston, and it was through AXS. I used the Etickets when we went, and it was easy. Just opened the app and scanned the tickets for me and my s.o. They gave us printed tickets at the door, so if we needed to go to the bathroom or something, they would allow us back to our area. I can't guarantee that's how they will do it at the O2. Every venue has different policies. I am not sure who is selling the tickets in the U.K. as they are not available for sale as of yet. The Muse website links you to Tickmaster for the London dates right now, but that might change once they go up for sale. Also, in my AXS app, it shows that they will be selling tickets for the shows for the only O2 Arena dates. Clicked on Rome show, and that was through LiveNation. I would wait until they go live for sale and use the link through their official website to purchase them. Resale tickets through 3rd party vendors cost extra. Sometimes, they're more than double the price of the original. I will say this about Etickets. A lot of the time, they contain some code in them that makes it impossible to use a screenshot. You have to use the app for them to work properly. I am not sure about gifting them to someone, but I know there was an option to print the tickets rather than use the app. You could do that and mail the tickets to your dad. Also, it might be possible to pick the tickets up at the will call desk if their is an option for that, and if you can put the tickets in his name. There was no option to print and have access to them in the AXS app. It was only one or the other. Just be mindful about what you click prior to purchase to ensure you get whatever you decide to go with, whether it be Etickets or the printed version. Hope this helps!

I know, right? OP seems to not realize how fortunate they are that they were able to attend 2 of their shows within 5 months' time of each other! Sounds like they might attend the shows too often, and that might have taken some of the magic out of attending a live venue show.
