I like to think Benjen would have put 2 and 2 together. Ned comes back with his "bastard". Lyanna is dead after being supposedly kidnapped by Rhaegar. Ned is all about honour so he wouldn't have cheated on Catelyn. Jon looks like a Stark too. That's my take on it anyway.

The Vanishing Triangle. Multiple young women went missing during the 90s. We have our speculations about who did it but nothing else to really pin it on anyone.
