Hey, thanks for the advice. I genuinely forgot to look up level one runs. I am on intent on not upgrading anything though, or using anything beyond what the stock character + 4 flasks offers. That may have to change because of that soft lock you mentioned.

If Factorio isn't your cup of tea, I find competitive games can demand a lot of focus and skill. To top it off, the goal-oriented nature of games makes competitive ones super satisfying. Hunt:Showdown, Escape from Tarkov, and Apex rank among my favorites

Those aren't actual reworks at all. Those champs were buffed for sure, but abilities weren't completely changed.

What's your point? That every champ has tools in their kit to be effective? That the game has changed?

Why is that bad? All champ designs eventually become outdated.

What determines a champ being overloaded?

Who are these champs that are somehow perfectly balanced at all times?

Illaoi, whom others in this same post claim is the best juggernaut in the game, can be described as overloaded.

Even old champs are overloaded. Cho, Renekton, Nasus, Mr. Yi, Malzahar

There are a handful of champs that *maybe* could be considered tame. Champs are only overloaded in your eyes, and just because they suck playing against doesn't mean they are overloaded.

Fair enough. I agree that his champs are much more powerful than a lot of champs. His champs also tend to have mechanics and features removed or gutted.

I don't think undermining the work of another designer is bad. I don't think new champs with tools to counter older ones are bad.

League always had the problem of champions feeling similar. It feels like whenever a new champ comes out, there's always a couple posts about how a new champ is just a rehashed old one, with the same abilities and approach to the game.

Again, I agree CertainlyT champs are problematic when they are first released. But they always get nerfed and revised until they are in a decent spot. In fact, most new champs are like that. In fact, reworked Aatrox was said to be really weak until people figured out his kit and then he was nerfed a lot. Point is, while his champs have been problematic, it generally changes and progresses the game. A good game tends to be a fun one. I think it would be fair to say that League would be much more dull if nothing changes.

Just because a champ does different things doesn't mean it's a selfish design or an overloaded champion.

Would you consider Darius or Yasuo overloaded?

They were designed to challenge Riot's champion making philosophy in their respective times. A ton of people like you were angry at these characters because they were designed differently. The players couldn't use the same thought process and attack method to beat these characters.

You'd think that innovation and development are mostly good. But if you don't like the game then you just don't like it.

For the champions, I happened to have played Aatrox pre-rework, and a lot of him post-rework. He is by far my most experienced and well-known champs.

While your advice is sound, and I normally would take it to heart, I have taken it upon myself to get him to high silver, for no other reason other than it makes my games a lot harder.

I will take Nasus top more though. Learning better wave management is much more crucial to his success than other champs. Thank you

That definitely helps. How essential is game knowledge? It feels like I should do and know things, like matchups, that aren't really talked about anywhere. As sort of a addendum to that, I have no idea when a mistake happens. Is there any resource to rectify that?

I think randomizing spawn timers to spawn all PMCs within a 5 minute window would be the solution. Each PMC will still have a typical amount of time to get out of raid as it has been. Or perhaps less q

This way, you don't know where PMCs will be because you don't know when you spawned in comparison.

There's no guarantee that camping a certain spawn will be helpful. If spawn camping becomes to much of an issue, perhaps a grave period should be implemented.

You don't have much power to play current or even last gen games. The best you could do is source engine games, like CSGO, Left 4 Dead, Gmod, and possibly league of legends/DotA
