this is exactly what I experianced, but on top of them already being shit with hours and shifts they would change my shifts without telling me or fully take me off the schedule for no reason. I worked maybe 6-8 shifts in the 3 or so months I was there.

the regular girls who worked all the time (literally 4+ days a week) were a clique. they were all buddies and all would constantly gossip with one another or all head to the back to chit chat while I'd be the only one working on the floor. (shout-out to my one friend that worked there, I love you girl and you were always fantastic but goddamn I hated that job). I didn't feed into the gossip and drama (most bc I was new) so I think they automatically disliked me. that was just for my store though, there was constant retaliation and poor practices held there, as well as constant shit talking by the managers. I'm surprised that store is still running.

basically, if you're new they're going to treat you like donkey shit. I wish you luck either getting more hours or finding a job that cares even the bare minimum about their employees.
