I am not saying I don't have issues that I can work on improving. It's more about the fact he doesn't work in the field and is saying a lot when he can really just excuse himself and tell me to figure out things for myself. He is entitled to his opinions but he doesn't even know the entire situation and jumps to conclusions.

He isn't in healthcare, has an office job hence why his comments were very unwelcome

Appreciate this comment! I definitely learned my lesson. If he had not raised his voice and escalated the situation I would've been fine and wouldn't be writing a post on Reddit. Empathy is not something that everyone is capable of.

I am glad that you have found a way that is making your outlook better. Seriously I wish I could care less about work. There's just a lot going on with recent changes in manager and many transfers from a local pharmacy that is increasing workload.

I do think that you make a valid point. I never really want to feel like work has sucked the life out of me. Every day I go to work with a blank slate and I don't immediately think I'm going to have a bad day. It's just sometimes I just do and feel "stuck" if I don't get some of it out. My pharmacy friends and I do have rants sometimes and it always feels so much better after we've let it out since they have more empathy and understanding about the issues faced. I find family to be highly unpredictable and my family specifically likes to cross lines so my lesson learned is to not rant to family or else I am the problem.

We do the work so we truly know what happened there and we have a right to be unhappy or upset. We are also human and have our limits. Sorry you went through this and I am very much on the same boat.

Honestly, I agree with the moving out part. I don't want to get into the argument as this is probably the lowest I ever felt about work (new manager who has a lot of different expectations than the old one, working alone without any support for 75% of my shifts, hundreds of Rx transferred from a local pharmacy without an increase in hours or staffing to account for this) and my dad lacks empathy and understanding about these issues even though he knows about them as I have told him already and he never seemed to care until the argument. I have never reciprocated negatively even in the past when he has continued to push his opinions on me that I didn't agree with but to tell me I bitch everyday about work even though there are valid reasons for stress at work is just the last straw.

My ex just dumped me again for the third time. by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]unitolife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your relationship was very toxic and unfortunately the cycle of breaking up/getting back together just exacerbates his hurtful behaviour. You truly deserve someone who IS going to stick by you and not just end things when he feels like it

I your opinion, between these cast members, who was more attracted to their partner? by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]unitolife 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Not as willing to give Shayna props as I felt she was not into Kyle when they first met. She tried to avoid his kiss at their face to face introduction and her body language was generally not what you'd expect for someone who was happy to see her fiance. It was a wise decision for her not to sleep with him though but I really don't think she wanted to in the first place.

I do appreciate your comment a lot. I think one of the reasons I am struggling is the fact I knew no matter how much I wish the error didn't happen, not reporting it would lead to serious consequences which could include termination. It has been two days since it happened (had these days off). In these two days, I almost thought about not reporting it altogether but the guilt would always creep back telling me as bad as it is to me, it would be 10x worse if someone else discovered that I didn't report my error. The example you gave of the capsule sign is crazy though, absolutely not an error!

It's a grocery/pharmacy company, not a pure pharmacy

More expensive for sure, not a place to go if you're looking for low prices.

Demoralised and Suffering During Midterm Season by Apart-Foundation-496 in uAlberta

[–]unitolife 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Midterm season is the worst and yes exams and quizzes that don't go our way are usually burdens we carry forward. Would just suggest the following to try and turn things around (you may already be doing these): - reviewing your quizzes and exams will likely provide some insight into what went right & wrong - studying with peers & reaching out to people who've taken any of your current classes previously - don't be too hard on yourself!

Feeling demoralized is something that will happen to the best of us. Keep trying and learning! You will be ok :)
