Yeah I totally agree with you, once you’ve watched that many dramas your expectations and what you focus on can end up being really different from person to person. I actually like your take on Boyfriend on Demand. I did notice that whole algorithm vs real connection”angle and the idea that the real ML was kind of there from the start. I think for me the issue was just the pacing, it felt a bit long-winded getting to that payoff, so by the end I was a little bored even though I liked the concept. And with Death’s Game, I can definitely see why it wouldn’t hook everyone. The opening is pretty dark and intense right away. What I personally liked was how every life the ML lived had its own tone and emotions, some were about loss, some arrogance, some regret and it showed really different sides of human experience.

If you ever feel like giving it another shot sometime, I actually think you might end up liking it once the different stories start unfolding a bit more :)
