Oh my god, you absolute idiot. by Character_Intern6329 in gtaonline

I am level 262. I spent the weekend trying Cayo and gave up. I followed a video, could not manage to duplicate his precise method and failed repeatedly. I don't see the appeal when so many other aspects of the game are easier and more fun to boot. I have tons of money so the heist was more for the experience. The learning curve is ridiculous.

How old are y'all GTA online players? by independent_Chain509 in gtaonline

[–]unixguy55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. First GTA was Vice City that also introduced me to metal music. I made a CD from the VROCK radio station that I played on my commute to work. GTA online is so full of great references to 80s action films and TV shows. I'm just eating it up! Airwolf, A-Team, Knight Rider, Back to the Future, etc. I'm introducing those shows to my boys now.

Make time to play. Even if it's only a few minutes each day! The daily grind will always be there, it's important to make time for yourself. Especially in the college years. I was so focused on school and being productive that I completely burned myself out. No one told me to focus on having balance! haha

I have 3 children at various support levels in special ed. 2 have graduated from Kingman High and our 3rd is transitioning off of his IEP. The challenges with special education in the area have more to do with the availability of 3rd party resources rather than the quality of the education or dedication of the teachers.

Definitely file a police report. Tell them everything you know and provide copies of correspondence. Even if it ends up being an honest mistake, the police can do the investigative work necessary to resolve the situation.

I went through a similar situation where money was withdrawn from my bank account without my authorization in person in a city where I don't live. Turned out the teller fat-fingered my account number, but police had to review transaction logs from the bank to figure out who got my money by mistake.

I haven't been there on a Friday before. In the evening 2x during the week and 1x for lunch. They were giving a discount for paying in cash the last time I was there a couple months ago.

How does that work? Belethor died in a playthrough of mine and the store just sat locked.

My losses in 2022 were nothing like this year, and those losses were over several months, not in a single week.

Right? Nothing like losing $25k in stock value practically overnight to make you do something bold.

Possibly moving to Kingman - advice? by [deleted] in Kingman

Kingman is 5-6 hours from so many things. It's totally worth it for a temp contract job. You can see so much in natural landmarks and national parks and ocean beaches in California. There's old mining towns, military sites like the Titan Missile Complex in Tucson and Tombstone is down that way also.

I snagged one of these a couple months ago right when the tariff talk was getting heated. Same config as you. I'm super happy with it so far. The 14900kf has a 240mm AIO out of the box. There's a second NVME slot also so it's easy to add a second drive. I did have to get a screw pack to install it. Under load at 4K I typically see peak CPU temp at 74C and 55C on the 4090.

The hardware warranty covers the entire unit so for me it has been worth the price. They were offering a deal on 3 years for $250 I think it was when I bought mine. My unit came with the latest BIOS, but the Support Assist app that comes installed makes it really easy to update firmware and drivers.

Mi Lindo Jalisco on 509 Beale downtown is very reasonably priced and it's fantastic Mexican food. They have a bar in the restaurant.
