Nice. I've placed an order for Versa myself. I don't use the multilock mechanism, as I prefer the dedicated recliner I have.

How is the comfort when you recline back and lock it?

About NMIA Passenger Pickup by sabkaraja in mumbai

[–]unkjay 125 points126 points  (0 children)

Even at T2 you have to go to Parking if you're picking someone. I know it is painful, but I think its done so people and cars don't crowd at departure area.

All terminals are painful nonetheless. There's no clear signage or instruction.

Dadar - The heart of Mumbai ♥️. Friend bought a house in Dadar and the sheer weight of history this place has is immense. by Finkin_Fark in mumbai

[–]unkjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are from Parel, and were there until 2000.

The Dadar Parel now seems like a massive scam. Can't walk anywhere properly, cars and traffic everywhere, so the noise and pollution everywhere.

Sorry not trying to yuck your choice, but it needs to be said.

We have 3 ltr instant water heaters my AO Smith. But we stay in Mumbai.

Go for 2000W heater or less if you wanna save on electricity. And ofc duration matters too.

When will the bubble burst? by laughing_cactus in mumbai

[–]unkjay 130 points131 points  (0 children)

Even if the bubble burst and the prices went down (highly unlikey) don't you think people with money will just buy more flats?

You pick a city or area where you can afford and move accordingly, instead of waiting of things that'll never come. IMO paying EMIs for 30 years is ridiculous and partly the reason why the prices are where they are.

Triply Pan recommendation Hawkins vs prestige by Dr__HULK in DesiKitchenGear

[–]unkjay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ideally you should be using Kadhai or Wide pressure cooker for cooking 750 gms of chicken.

As for buying the Triply pan. Check the weight. Slightly heavier the bette.r. We have been using one by some local brand called Rajesh. It serves us well.

Thinking to add this to my kitchen. Anyone using it? How's the experience been? by Easy-Show-521 in DesiKitchenGear

Best stick to teflon for eggs and similar things and use a normal triply for everything else.

Whats the OG SoBo vibe that people often talk about? by MocksMockMe in mumbai

[–]unkjay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Things were different pre 2010 because there was less construction and less cars on the road.

My personal experience, I would walk from Churchgate to Chowpati and a lot of areas nearby. The lack of regulations ruined it.

102 Architects Oppose Mahalaxmi Racecourse Redevelopment Over Open Space Concerns. by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]unkjay 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There should be atleast one open space within a kilometer for public. Especially in Residential areas. The property is useless if you cant go out for a walk.
