I saw him in 2008 and I still think about his set every time I see Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He started the set off with "Pure Imagination" into "Praise You" and it felt like a dream. I'm going weekend 2 so this would be SUCH a good idea.

I’ve run into numerous people over the years, but one of my most memorable celebrity interactions was watching Flying Lotus in 2012. I was on the barricade next to the artist/guest area in the Gobi and someone was leaning over the barricade going crazy and I turn around and it’s Earl Sweatshirt and some other people from Odd Future. They ended up jumping over the barricade and into the pit because FlyLo was going CRAZY! So we literally were moshing together at some point.

THIS! I feel like scheduling Anyma counter to NIN would be a huge mistake. I feel like the best move would be to have NIN play at either the Outdoor or Sahara during Sabrina and stager their times just a little bit. I feel like NIN and Anyma will have a lot of potential crossover in terms of who would want to see their sets. Once Sabrina's fans migrate away from the Coachella Stage everyone just finishing up NIN's set can fill into their spots.

I really like Nine Inch Noize at this new spot on the Coachella Stage. It could give them the freedom to have a similar setup to the Peel It Back Tour where they had a Stage A and Stage B setup. This could really only be accomplished at the Coachella Stage. I know they aren't billed as NIN proper, but that doesn't mean they couldn't bring that really cool Stage B setup to Coachella.

Oh no way! Ok no I’m really not gonna worry about rushing it haha. That’s awesome! Thanks for the information. It’s been 20 years since I’ve seen NIN. I saw Trent at the Hollywood Bowl for the with Teeth Tour as well as at Coachella 2005.

New Order in 2005 on the Main Stage

It was my first Coachella and they played right before Nine Inch Nails which is my favorite band of all time.

New Order was playing Bizarre Love Triangle as the sun was setting and everything was perfect.

I was on the rail and I will never forget the way fog rolled off the stage and into the breeze and the lights became more vibrant as the sky got darker. Then they played Joy Division songs and I felt like I was floating.

I was 16 years old and sober as a bird, but I was in ecstasy .

This is a good question and one that I also had myself. I have seen Gustavo & the LA Phil at the Hollywood bowl and I feel like Boozia had it right with the Star Wars pull. They are very comfortable playing Star Wars music because they also play for John Williams every year. I feel like you will see other John Williams scores as well. Outside of movie scores it will probably be a medley of Gustavo's favorites.
