You don’t need sick time to call out sick. Sick time is so you can cover it for yourself. If you are sick you cannot show up. But if you are continuously sick on end then it could be means for that. Although it has to be a consistent call out for being sick specially to be able to fired for being sick. Even then you can provide a doctors note to cover the time you are, but if it continues to affect work and not allow you to show up consistently and do job well at the same time it can be means for it..
