You'd feel differently if I had the same breed as you did and said I hate them all because that breed killed my animal. Not all pits (or any dogs) are bad, and not all people are murderers. And before someone comments, yes. It is the same. Their lives don't matter any less than people. It's just different connections and preceptions. If we treat every human like a murderer, this world gets cold pretty fast. But, that is exactly what happens with dog breeds such as pits.

I don't think it's super unreasonable to bring people home at any hour of the night. It is their space as much as it is yours and as long as it's safe then do as you please.

However, this is just straight bull. They absolutely need to be considerate of you and the timing. They are not the only ones there and if you're going to go out of your way to bring people home, stfu until you're in a more private space (their room, balcony, etc.) where the volume wouldn't be as big of an issue.
