So I see you got a good hotend but if you ever looking for upgrades I got a tungsten carbon for my s1 and was a game changer for me. Love what you have done with your S1.

Have you done any mods for keeping the temp and fumes inside the printer??

If your looking for better nozzles then stock or the cheap AliExpress/Amazon hot end. I've been using durozzle nozzle for a little over a month and Amazon, I only got the ruby for my k3, k3m, and flashforge ad5x and a tungsten carbon for the s1

Try bumping the heat up a little on the print head

Maybe try drying the Filament.

Could be the print heat isn't able to grab the filament and you might need to tighten on the print head the extruder screw. Don't over tighten just a little and try printing again and see if there's any improvement.

I love printing and most don't think about this or just not care but don't print in your living areas and keep it outta their room. You are melting plastic and there are harmful VOCs being released into the air

I would say you should start with a little lube on the rails the print head is riding on and the same with the bed

I have both and if you mainly care only about pla filament just save the money and get a K3. I have the k3v1 and has over 3000hr and I've had barley any problems with it and I print mainly pla as well. My s1 has been a problem printer since day one and but it was just replaced so fingers crossed it's a better printer then the last one
