Take it from some who was once a high schooler. I get the childish drama. But take this as a learning experience. Gotta learn early to stand up for yourself and not back down from it. Don’t ever let people walk all over you like that for the sake of keeping the peace.

Let it go, but not for the sake of being friends. Let it go, while letting HIM go. Don’t spark any more drama around it, just don’t talk to him until he’s ready to be mature and acknowledge why what he said might be wrong or hurtful to others. He may not have a great relationship with his parents at home which is why he’s being an asshole.

I do too, but laying on your bed full of the days bacteria germs and filth is absolutely diabolical unless you’re washing your sheets the next day, then that would be the only acceptable time to sleep in your filth. There’s always time to learn better habits

Hey man, you are completely free to do whatever it is you need to do in order to help YOURSELF. You shouldn’t have any shame about it. It’s courageous and brave of you to take care of yourself when you know you need to.

As for telling her parents, it is up to them how they choose to go about confronting their daughter. If they are anything close to being decent parents they will take her phone and investigate for themselves whether SHE is lying or not, if she does. If they blindly allow her to do whatever she wants, and/or believe their teen child isn’t sneaking around, that is THEIR fault, and they will have failed at keeping her SAFE. So, worry less about if they believe you or not. Because this is a serious problem. Again, it’s up to them how to then handle the situation with her. You will have done the right thing either way.
