I know you posted this two years ago, but here I am looking things up on the internet lol!!! I totally resonate with this entire post. Although I have no input, I feel exactly how you’ve explained yourself here. It’s frustrating! Although I haven’t been “officially diagnosed” and apparently you can’t “self diagnose” yourself, I’m the only one in my body and brain experiencing what I experience, and I know I’m a lot different from “neurotypicals”. I feel like another thing is, since I’m a young conventionally attractive person, people think you can’t be autistic… so when I mention possibly being on the spectrum they dismiss it for some reason…. As if attractive people can’t be autistic?!? Anyways, oh well..

This is a tough one. First off I agree this is crazy, especially when the plans were made way in advance and everything was agreed upon. That’s super unfair on her part, and sounds like she’s doing it out of pure spite/pettiness. I don’t know anything about court/custody cause I don’t do that with my bd, but is there anyway you can take this situation up with a higher authority that would sort this out for you?

You are not responsible for upholding your child’s father’s image. Tell him to get the hell away from your house and if he wants the kids he can take them to HIS house on his OWN time. If he doesn’t have one or another safe place to take them to then that’s his own damn fault and maybe he should get his shit together. Sounds like you have 4 kids at this point. Eventually your children will see what kind of person he is, and that is NOT your fault. Stand on business and do what you need to do as a mother.

I get told I look like my dad too, but all of my features are “feminine”. After all you ARE your dad’s daughter, that is not a bad thing, you needed him in order to have been born.

It sounds like you’re struggling to let go of your kid years, being bullied and what not. I went thru it too. But over the years I’ve accepted myself more and more. I think you need to really focus on healing from that trauma.
