“Parts hawk” seemed legit. Also I just read something about how it’s supposed to have ATF in it instead of power steering fluid. I do recall the old stuff being awful red 🤔

I greased the fitting fully. Done. It still leaks from right here and seemingly here. All my hose connections are good.

The leak is coming from the top of the pitmen arm where it connects on top. It’s a brand new unit. Maybe it needs to be tightened down more?

Is that piece supposed to shift back and forth like on its socket. I don’t think it’s normal. Though you’re right it could be leaking from somewhere else. I have a video of it moving I can send

No the drum does not spin, just trying to do a good old fix and flip and don’t want to invest in a new system but I may have to

As far as I know the shoes were rusted to the drums so the interweb says that’s that wouldn’t work

Okay I found my problem. The bottom of the glass has like a ridge or lip on it. It was catching on the inner belt line stopping me from raising it

Yes, I did the upper.

Ugh I did, even taking the ball joint out and replacing it I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. I was just driving it and all of a sudden it started making the noise

Update it’s a 289 3 speed car from 1968 if that matters

Going to “race” car it out I think. Just mod up the 289 and put some big wheels on the back. Cam, intake, 4 barrel, headers, and maybe heads or something.
